Once Janet was done we headed straight to a meeting. Grandpa greeted me and Cassius-Janet's Dad.
"Don't tell me you made your granddaughter the next capo." One of them said with annoyance.
"My territory my rules. Don't get into my succession, my family has the right to protest." Grandpa turned him down.
"We have a big issue to deal with, focus," said Cassius.
Once we were settled Grandpa explained the details. And it sounds bad like very bad. I ignored the looks that I received from some of them of disgust. Unlike me, Janet glazed at them not caring at all. I smirk when our gaze meets.
"Anyone has a plan?" asked Grandpa.
"How about we form a deal with them?" one of them asked.
"No, we have nothing to offer except the territory and I am sure no one wants to give it up," said Grandpa.
The room fell silent. Cassius nods at me. I stood up and motioned to Janet, who stood up and passed the contract among them. Once they read it some of them look hopeful while others look mad.
"Can I explain Capo?" I asked Grandpa in a professional tone.
"Yes."
"This is a simple plan, you have to sign the contract and it will be only valid if I prevent the attack and how I will do it is a secret. It's up to you if you want to save your territory." I announced.
"How we can trust you when we don't even know the plan?" they protested.
"I already helped the families who formed contracts, you can ask them," I said.
"That's true, she didn't say anything but all the people attacking us were wiped out by her. The Capos who allied had similar results. " Said Cassius. Others look surprised.
"I can't explain but trust me I can prevent it, All I need is your cooperation," I said.
"And if we don't agree or if you won't be able to prevent it then?"
"Then all of you will die and it won't be my fault," I said with a smile. They stared at me.
"Just sign it, it's already mentioned that if she won't be able to prevent it then the contract isn't valid." Grandpa pointed out.
"Besides it's better than having no plan to save us and our people," said Cassius.
"And no one is going to help you. So keep your ego on your side when you are allying for mutual benefit instead of a slavery contract." Jade said with a flat tone.
They grumbled but signed it anyway. While the ones who already signed the contract thanked me for my previous help. I talked with them politely. If you give respect to others they will respect you back unless they are egoistic bastards. With that, they left putting faith in me.
"So Jade what are you going to do now?" asked Grandpa.
"I will create a huge distraction that will give them enough damage. It will be enough to stop their attack temporarily." I explained.
Grandpa nods. He pats my head.
"I believe in you good luck." He said heading out with Cassius. Janet gazed at me.
"I hope you have a plan because shit is getting real," she said.
"I do have a plan. I already told Ronnie to prepare it."
I took her straight to the place where our soldiers stay. They greeted me and took me to Ronnie. Lucas and Ronnie nod at me. Delian bows at me. I approach the guy who tried to assassinate me previously. Lucas said his code name is Viper. Cliche. Viper doesn't look happy seeing me, his lips pressed in a thin line.
"Now listen, you will go to Guild Assassin and meet the head. If you try to run away or disclose any information about us then I have a bomb fixed on you, when I press the button you will die." I explained to him. His eyes widen in horror. Lucas handed me the remote that swung in front of him.
"Nice, sounds like those mastermind villains but will it benefit us?" asked Janet.
"The Guild assassins work for it," I said with a smirk.
"You mean the biggest Guild work for Elites. They won't be happy but we don't care. I love your idea." She pats my back understanding my plan.
"You are Dominic Slaughter's granddaughter, you have proved it."Delian comments.
"Thank you. Then let's finish our mission." I announced.
We had already placed GPS and a mini camera on the guy. As we ordered he left the territory and headed to the head. Making excuses he finally reached the head's office. The head's face is uncovered. Viper took the seat and placed the device in front of him.
"Who would have thought that we would find the identity of such a person," Ronnie comments.
"It's getting to the interesting part, no one will say a thing," I said.
The head's face shot up with a displeasure written over his face. Viper still making sure I can see everything. We have a good guy in our clutches.
"What is wrong with you?" He asked.
"Hello, Head of Assassination Guild. I can see you, there is a bomb planted on this poor guy so don't dare to pull any stunt." I said At the same time Viper opened his jacket showing him. He tensed up. The voice changer is working well.
"Who are you?"
"Your death if you don't listen."
"What do you want from me?"
"You need to send me any information that can ruin Elites."
"What makes you think I will give you any information?"
"You don't have to. I will kill you. I already have your location." I said simply.
"Fine."
I gave him instructions and a fake, untraceable location. He did what I asked him to do. Once it was done I told Viper to leave. The head stopped him.
"At least tell me your name." He said.
"You can call me the ruin of elites," I replied.
"You want to destroy them. It's impossible even if I failed to do so."
"Don't worry we will meet when I destroy them completely."
"You are too confident." He said.
"You don't have to worry about it."
I muted myself and waited for Viper's arrival. He got back with a bunch of documents in his arms. Wearing the gloves we skimmed through them. I already have people placed around the borders, if he tried to follow Viper he would die. Fun. After checking through all of them I found very interesting stories. Dark Secrets Elites.
Records of Secret Assassination of Members of Elite Families.
"Just look at this, Elites are two-faced bitches." said Janet.
"If this goes out then Elites will be in the mess forever," Ronnie said with a smirk.
"And that's what we want. Delian released this information anonymously. Tomorrow there will be a huge chaos." I ordered.
"Jade, the person who sent Viper to kill you is Derek Martinez," Lucas said getting everyone's attention.
"Isn't he from the Elite family too? Why would he try to kill me? He won't even know the existence of me or Slaughters." I question confused.
Delian and Lucas clenched their fist in anger. There's something they know and by their looks, they won't be telling me about it.
"I need to inform Dominic about it," Delian said while walking away.
"You know something don't you Lucas?" I asked. He shook his head.
"It's not my place to say anything about it."
"Don't leave us in the dark," Janet complained.
It's fine, looks like I need to find out about it myself.
