Janet:
I hate men and I hate the ones who ditch me without giving me any explanations. Boys are scum. I am not even supposed to be in the club considering I am underage. I don't care but it's a waste of my time, I should have helped Jafe instead of this bullshit. I glanced around trying to find my so-called Fiance. I even forgot the dog's name.
I managed to find one of his guards who was busy flirting with someone. I rolled my eyes.
"Hey, where is your boss? He told me to meet me here." I said.
"Uh, the boss is upstairs."
His reply didn't surprise me at all I knew he would do such a thing. I walked upstairs and soon my gaze landed on the two-person fucking nearby. I ignored them and walked further away finding my so-called fiance with a random girl. This is not the first time I found him with another girl. I turned away ready to leave but then a thought came to mind getting my attention. If I kill him now I will be free from him and no one will suspect me since my image isn't like a bad girl which I am by the way. I pull out my gun from my purse.
"Janet." a voice said.
I glanced up finding Deo surrounded by his men. His face as I saw last time charming and blank. I noticed he only smiled at Jade, not anyone else. His face is in confusion. I grinned at him.
"Hello, brother-in-law." I greeted him.
"You should not be here." He said ignoring my greetings then he shook his head. "Planning to kill someone?"
"You see the guy behind me with that woman. He is my fiance, unfortunately."
"Killing the fiance cheating on you, good. But it will get you in trouble."
I grumble at his words and put my gun back. One day I will get payback for his cheating on me. Not like I will get married to him but he should at least respect the relationship until we are bonded. Piece of shit. I focused back on Deo.
"What are you doing here?" I ask him in a serious tone. I swear if he comes here for a woman then I will have to get rid of him for Jade.
"I am here for work." He replied.
"Work here seriously."
"Find your prey in a vulnerable place where he can't run. Join me if you want but let me warn you it's going to end up bad."
The way he said it made fear rise inside me. He noticed it too but ignored it. His man opened the room beside us and I heard a scream of la ady. After a while, a lady rushed out barely wearing anything while a man shouting inside the room. Deo walked inside. For a minute I contemplated whether to go in or not but in the end, I walked in and found Deo sitting on the chair an empty chair pulled out beside him. I glance at the man who is getting beaten up. Let's see the drama.
"Sit Janet," Deo ordered me making me glare at him but I took a seat beside him.
"Never order me again," I told him.
Deo focuses on the man with a gun lazily placed on his lap. Once his man where done, they let the man fall on the floor.
"Who was it that ordered the kidnapping of the children?" Deo asked him.
"I don't know. It was anonymous, I didn't know him well."
I glance at Deo. I thought he was here for a woman but man I was so wrong. He is taking care of our work even when we didn't tell him.
"Wait, Deo. You just had to get Seraphina back safely, we can handle this work." I cut off their therapy session.
"I want to help Jade since she has other work to deal with. Besides considering your circumstances it might be hard for you to take care of everything." He said melting my heart.
"Oh man, you are great. I approve you with Jade."
I pat his shoulder proudly. Deo gave me a side eye but didn't comment.
"So what will happen to him after you are done?" I ask him.
"He will die."
I stare at him. Deo didn't even say a thing. Seriously, I am in this world too but seeing someone getting tortured. Fun. It's not.
"Then I will get going. Have a good night." I told him.
"I will tell my men to drop you off." He said.
"Thanks." I smiled at him.
I opened the door and walked out after closing it behind me. I got face-to-face with my so-called fiance. He looks mad.
"Did you seriously sleep with a random guy?" he asked.
Like the hell. Who does he think he is?
"How about all the time you were cheating on me? By the way, our relationship is business so get lost." I said.
"I am a man. You should disgracefully."
"Like the hell I care. Get lost and never call me away."
I have had enough of this shameful guy. If it weren't for my family j would have killed him already. It's fine, I will get rid of him soon. He grabbed my arm with lust evident in his eyes.
"Since you are whoring around in this tight little dress, I will give you a good punishment." He said. I snatched my arm away.
"You are crossing the line," I warn him.
Before he can do anything Deo walks out with blood-stained clothes. His eyes narrowed gazing at my so-called fiance.
"Is he bothering you, Janet?" Deo question.
"And who do you think you are?"
"Someone you shouldn't cross," Deo replied with a cold tone. The fiance flinched.
"What's his name?" Deo asked me.
"I don't remember," I said with a shrug. It felt like Deo was amused but his lack of expression didn't give much. My fiance of mine glared at me.
Deo approached him and raised him in the air after grasping his collar. A deadly aura rose around him.
"Listen you will never talk to any woman like you did you here and call you father now," Deo ordered him.
I glance at him curiously. The fiance shuffled on his feet trying to grasp out of his hold. The guards of my so-called fiance came and pulled out a gun. One glare from Deo and all of them lower their gun. Deo's men soon joined us with their guns pointed at them.
"Get lost this is my territory," Deo ordered.
The fiance glared at us for a last time and scrambled out of the club. Once they're Gone Deo walks to while I follow him.
"Thanks, but I would have handled it," I told him.
"You would be dead." Deo snort.
I was going to argue but he ordered me to get in. After dropping me at my home he drove away. When I got in I found Mom waiting for good news. I wonder what she expects from such a relationship.
"He was with another girl," I told her to and she gasped.
"My poor daughter, he will change." She said.
"What nonsense. Can't you see how toxic he is? Just break the marriage." I told her.
"It's necessary to protect us."
"Jade is helping us."
"She is still a woman and we can't lead."
Not bothering to answer her I walked into my room. Changing my clothes I called my friend. She picked me up and greeted me with a cheerful tone.
"How are you?"
"Like a hell. That guy was with another girl. I am so done please get me out of this nonsense marriage business."
"You sound frustrated." she paused and said with a protective tone evident in her tone."Did Jerry to hurt you? He will pay."
"He was trying to force himself on me but Deo helped me."
"Deo?" I noticed how her tone softened saying his name. I smile.
"Yes, he was finding the people who ordered the Kidnapping of children. We bumped into each other."
"Wait it was supposed to be my job."
"He said he wanted to help you and since you are busy with other things he took care of it."
"He is helping me more the I ask for."
"Yes, good for you."
"I will get rid of your marriage soon so don't worry."
"Jade, you have lots of work." I pointed out.
"You are important Janet. Give me some time."
"Alright, Bye. Take care."
"You too and come to me I will prevent your meetings with that trash."
"Thanks."
I hang up and close my eyes exhausted and out of motivation. I want female queens so no man ever dares to hurt any woman. Jade will do and I will help her.
The only person who understands me. I should ask her grandpa to adopt me instead he won't mind because to him his daughters are precious.
Everyone has choices only if we ever realize it soon.
