Lucy was lost for words for a moment. She has no idea why Ember knows about Jayden's cap.
"Why are you interested in Omega's death?" Lucy blurted. That's all she could do now, at least act defensive.
Ember scowled, " You know what I could turn you into a frog right now!" she muttered, raising her finger for a spell cast.
Lucy cringed," Oh...w--wait!" she covered her hands to her face.
"Gosh! I don't want to be ugly!" Lucy mumbled.
"Okay, what do you want?" she asked with raised eyebrows trying to compose confidence in herself.
"Talk!" Ember commanded.
And with a snap of Ember's finger, Lucy talked everything that she wanted to know.
