Ember really decided to cast a spell on Jayden one that could make him forget everything that he heard right now but then she was stopped by what Jayden muttered. She saw in his eyes, that desperation and perhaps longing for that Omega wolf. She could have made herself believe that it was because he was just guilty of the oppression and hurting he had participated in, of that bet, but then Ember saw something different in his eyes this time convincing her that Jayden was genuine. The truth is she had not executed any of her siren power so there's no point Jayden being lured or what, but he's acting like he is right now.
What the hell? Ember thinks as Jayden repeats his question.
