Asria seemed not shocked at what Jayden stated. But Ember was astounded. So, that explains why Jayden has some traits that are not a wolf! Because he isn't a pure breed, and that explains why there was a rumor of him being a late shifter!
Jayden grabbed Asrai's arm. He's in despair, caught in between emotions of surprise and pain and longing. Somehow he's glad to have a sister, but this girl Asrai is bringing back the memories of her mother to him.
"Tell me this isn't true!" Jayden's teeth gritted.
Asrai's mouth curled upward, soon flashing a smirk, " You don't know your truth, alpha!" she muttered.
Asrai touched Jayden's wrist. Jayden shouted for he felt like something was burning from his skin. Then, seconds later, a scaled mermaid symbol appeared on his wrist. It looks like a patch scar.
"See, what your father had hidden from you for long!" Asrai muttered.
"And this!" Asrai showed Jayden a scale pendant.
