'Hey, need help?'
Jayden came to assist her with her luggage. It's the first day of alumni camp. All the participants and staff arrive now at the venue which is the farm resort villa in the heart of the woods.
'No, thanks, I can manage,' Ember said, smiling so Jayden wouldn't feel offended.
She saw his face saddened. She knew that he would insist more if only not Livy had interrupted.
She was screaming in the distance like she was having an emergency and she was calling for Jayden to help her.
'Go to her!' Ember's tone sounded sour.
She's pissed off with Livy. She's sure that, that woman was just putting up an act, besides deep inside her she wanted Jayden's attention.
'Go!' Ember frowned, gesturing to Jayden to go to Livy.
Jayden doesn't really want to but he saw Ember's face like she was pissed, so he left and did not insist anymore.
