The big day finally arrived and as Annabelle struggled to get herself looking as perfect as can be, she couldn't help but glance at her phone for the time. It's been years since she last saw her brothers and the panic was even more choking than the expected excitement.
She had lived far from their judgemental and scrutinizing eyes, but still very much under their grip. So much so, that she couldn't allow herself the thought of freedom, as that wasn't a word that existed in her dictionary.
