The journey from Manhattan should have been a little more stressful but it was strangely more enjoyable and relaxing. I couldn't help but allow the grin on my face grow even wider as I was suddenly reminded of the last minute offer Mrs Elizabeth Smith made about me using one of the private jets for a more comfortable travel. Although the greedy side of me wanted to grab the offer so badly, I knew it just might talk down on my reputation that I'm struggling to keep.
I wasn't born into wealth or affluence, and I most definitely do not know the true potential of power and money, and at such, I'm at a higher risk of being referred to as a gold digger. It was the unseen or better still, untold part of being married to someone not in your social class.
