On the battlefield, a fallen angel could be seen unconscious. A Nephilim could be seen releasing a battle cry. The power he released sent shivers down the spines of the onlookers.
"What was that? I looked at the other side for a moment, and the next moment, I found Damien sleeping," asked someone in the crowd.
"It was such an epic moment. A single punch from Amon knocked him out. How did he suddenly get so strong?" said another person beside him.
"Was he not useless from the start? Maybe he is talented in physical enhancement magic; he will not be the weakest from today," said the other one.
"I don't believe this. He is cheating. He should have taken some elixir. How can he suddenly become so powerful?"
A smile appeared on the rosy lips of the fallen angel lady. "See, Melusina, didn't I say? Believe in him. See, he can use Prana."
"How is that even possible? Fallen Angels had very low talent in Prana; how can he manifest it without training? I don't understand it." commented Melusina.
The fallen angel facepalmed herself. "By your logic, Hiranyaksh should also not be able to use Prana."
The eyes of Melusina widened in surprise. She looked at her master and asked, "Could it be because of him? When I saw him, he appeared so pathetic, I thought he was just a slave."
The joy in the fallen angel's eyes disappeared the next moment. She turned her head as she looked at the battle ring. "I don't like to talk about that topic; just remember that he was not an ordinary human. His name is enough to cause a storm in this city any time."
The veins on Amon's body stretched, and his eyes started glowing Azure before fumes and black smoke were released. His whole body shook before he fell unconscious.
Hiranyaksh looked at Amon for a moment, and a surprised expression could be seen on his face. "Damien had fallen unconscious first; Amon is the winner of this duel."
He then looked at Damien's friends and said, "Bring your friend to the medical center," before staring at the sky momentarily before his body disappeared.
"How careless! Isn't this a part of his responsibility?" said one of them.
The onlookers started discussing, "Bro, look at Damien's face; his jaw has been damaged."
"What about this Amon guy? He looks in much worse condition; who will take him to the medical center?" Asked the other one.
They were discussing it when they saw a gorgeous lady appearing from the sky and picking up Amon before disappearing at a very hard-to-track speed.
"What was that? It felt like a storm just passed by," asked one of them.
"It was Amon's mother, the high elder Vallarie Duskcrowned," said one of them.
"Damien has a lot of guts to poke her son. She is not called the Black Rose of our family for nothing," said the other.
"You don't need to worry about that. Adults don't usually interfere in the feuds of young people. If she wanted to interfere, she could have already punished many people," commented another fallen angel.

A scarlet-eyed woman could be seen lighting candles in a dimly lit room. On the bed beside the table, a boy could be seen with white disheveled hair and a face covered in scars and burns.
"What happened to him suddenly, Miss? He looked perfectly fine just a moment ago," asked Melusina with a worried expression on her face.
"I don't know; his veins look stressed, and I can see wounds and burns all over his body. He needs urgent treatment. Maybe he received a backlash using Prana," said Vallarie as she checked Amon's condition.
"I should call a high-level healer." Melusina turned and was about to leave when she heard Vallerie's voice say, "Stop! You guard the room; I will treat his wounds."
"You can't be thinking of using that ability, right? It can be dangerous; his injuries look serious. It might take you some days to recover. Why not depend on a healer?" asked Melusina.
"It's nothing much; you go guard the room. I don't want others to know about it," said Vallarie before she closed her eyes. Her wings stood up before they started shining in a bright golden hue.
Multiple thin black chains released from her body and tied around Amon. The next moment, they started shining a bright white light. All the injuries on Amon's body lit up before they started disappearing one by one.
Amon appeared in perfect condition, but she continued; the chains shone in a golden glow that started to surround Amon's body. It continued for several minutes until black veins started to appear all over Vallarie's body.
The chains moved back inside her body, and she groaned in pain before coughing up a chunk of black blood. The light in her eyes became dim for a moment. A light golden glow surrounded her body, and she started to recover slowly.
Multiple cuts and burns could be seen all over her body, which started to recover quickly. Noticing Amon gaining consciousness and moving his fingers, she casted a spell quickly. The next moment, the blood disappeared, and she regained her regular appearance.
Amon clenched his hands before he slowly opened his eyes. He blinked and looked at the place around him. He was surprised; this was his room. He noticed a familiar presence and saw his mother sitting beside him.
He slowly stood up and hugged her instinctively. Many thoughts started appearing in his head. He felt like it was a dream, but soon he regained his memory. However, he could not remember it clearly; it appeared in flashes.
"Mom, I am sorry; I could not keep my promise." He guessed, like the previous times, he got unconscious and was brought to his room.
Vallarie's hand rubbed Amon's messy hair, "There is no need to apologize, Amon; I watched everything. You did well; I am proud of you."
"Really?" asked Amon, and a smile appeared on his face. His mood suddenly became better.
Vallarie kissed her son's forehead and looked at him with doting eyes. "You won. Don't you remember?"
Amon's eyes and mouth widened, and a confused expression appeared on his face. Did I win? Damien was dominating the match, and I was on my last breath... Breath? I remembered I took a deep breath before passing out.
'Yeah, I watched someone using a technique and activate the power inside his body. Did I manage to win because of it? On the first try, I could only awaken a small power; should I try it again?'
He closed his eyes and was about to inhale when his mother stopped him. "Don't try it, Amon; it's dangerous. You were in a half-dead state after using it. You need to learn about it before you can properly use it."
A shiver ran through Amon's body when he heard it, and he was also surprised. How was he able to fully recover? He felt a strange power all over his body, like something had changed inside him.
