Chapter 33 - The Importance of Learning Part 2

Their exchanges hinted at the complex interplay of power and influence within their family, a delicate balance of dynamics that they must have been well versed in. The revelation of Reina and Yuna's social standing left me wondering about the origins of my own lineage, a question that lingered in the shadows of my mind.

The Guild Hall served as a hub for adventurers seeking to sell their spoils of war and acquire new gear, weapons, and magical artifacts. This place provided a glimpse into the daily life of adventurers. While its purpose was largely functional, it also offered a sense of community among those who shared the same dream of pursuing their wildest ambitions in this world.

As I walked through the halls of the Guild Hall, I saw people of all walks of life—from young children to seasoned veterans. The vast array of individuals gathered in one place gave me a sense of camaraderie and belonging. I knew that I belonged here, among these fellow adventurers. I belonged here, among my newfound friends.

My heart swelled with pride and gratitude for the journey that lay before us, and I couldn't help but smile at the thought of exploring this world with my companions by my side.

While Lance's presence had brought some dissonance to our group, we decided to continue our journey together, as a unified team. Our path led us to a place of great significance, known as the Grand Library.

As we traversed the majestic corridors of the Grand Library, I felt as if I were walking through a maze of knowledge and wisdom. The halls were lined with bookshelves that stretched as far as the eye could see, filled with tomes of all shapes and sizes.

The walls themselves seemed to be made of polished white marble, which reflected the light from the chandeliers that hung from the ceiling.

The floor beneath our feet was also made of marble, with intricate designs carved into it. It was like stepping into another world altogether.

Our journey through the labyrinthine halls of this place seemed endless, but we eventually reached a door that appeared to be made of solid gold. This door was emblazoned with intricate runes that resembled those found on the ancient tomes that lined the walls.

Lance guild us around this Adventure Guild Hall, pointing out various items of interest, such as the various books and artifacts stored in the library. There was a sense of reverence in his voice when he spoke of the power that these items possessed.

As we walked through the hall, I felt a sense of awe and wonder at the sheer amount of knowledge contained within this place. It was truly a testament to the power and wealth of the kingdom.

I could see why it was called the Grand Library. It was like a hidden treasure trove, full of secrets and mysteries just waiting to be discovered.

Then later on, Our journey continued guild around us, inside of Guild Hall, there were so many things I hadn't experienced yet, as for my childish age. But since the guild around us has everything needed for someone like me.

There's even an Artifact of Magic Stone. I didn't know that a magic stone is also a form of currency, it can be sold for a good price and be used to purchase other items.

In addition to the artifacts, the Guild also sells a variety of potions and scrolls. These are extremely useful for adventurers who are in need of an emergency potion or spell.

Lance told me everything about this Guild Hall Adventure like it was the first time experiencing this. I think this is a great place to come and learn about the different types of items available, and how they can be used to enhance your adventuring experience.

I also noticed that the prices on some items are quite reasonable, and I could definitely see myself spending some of my hard-earned coins here.

Following that unexpected interruption, our journey came to an abrupt halt. Reina and Yuna found themselves summoned by the commanding resonance of their mother's voice, a beckoning that carried the weighty decree that they should return to the sanctuary of their ancestral home.

Lance explained that: they should listen to their mother's words, and meet their family's expectations. And Reina, and Yuna responded to him with an obvious negative reaction to him, that "You don't want to stay and work, not when we're finally getting started?!"

However, their refusal to tend to their mother's hearth and kin led to dire repercussions, rendering their current pursuits forbidden and their independence an elusive dream. Such was the desire of their mother. Lance, undeterred by their defiance, reiterated his counsel, imploring them to bow to their mother's wishes, for in obedience, they could yet carve out their own destinies, securing their independence and lives untethered to the past.

They could be punished by their mother and stripped of their independence; they could defy her and seek the autonomy they craved. Either way, they faced a momentous decision, one with the potential to shape their futures. The weight of their options settled heavily upon their shoulders, the decision more daunting than any before it.

It good choice to visit their mother, give her belief spoken word, to release their daughter Reina, and Yuna from some early parental expiration. Now their whole focus is on the quests, to look around this Guild.

Afterward, in the guild of Adventure Hall. Their eyes sparkle and brighten as they look around, and have fun.

My small hands are wrapped around one of their hands, like their siblings, Reina, and Yuna have taught us something to not be afraid anymore. I love them very much, and I will always be safe around them.

Amidst my surroundings, I cast my gaze about, my eyes alighting upon Ayase, a peer of my own age, standing beside me, she's a bit nervous about going on our first adventure. I assure her that everything will be alright and give her my bright smile, then tell her the reason why I chose to help Reina and her family; and then she smiles back to me.

This gives me the confidence I need to face whatever challenges might come our way. As I move towards her and take her hand in mine, the warmth of her fingers comfortingly intertwine with my own as her grip tightens gently.

"Don't be afraid, Ayase." I whisper with reassuring intent, hoping that she can feel the strength and confidence I hold within myself.

This Strength of confident order me to help the sister of House Blackthorn Reina and Yuna. So I'm ready to protect them and support them.

And now, Reina and Yuna have returned, looking a little upset at the turn of events.

Lance greets them with a smile, and I greet them as well, but there's a feeling that something is off like the atmosphere is tense and heavy.

It was an awkward silence the day would soon end. An end that had not yet revealed its beginnings, and I decided to write the entry.
