After the long story, the little boy yawns, then Mey flicks her hand and flies him to his bed.
Mey said, "You talk too much. Maybe it's because you've started getting old; don't even look at time."
Kairos replied, "You were old first! Now we switched places."
Then they both looked at the little boy and started sleeping. Suddenly, Kairos said,
"It would be great if things could stay like this. For both of us."
Meyeri replied, "Maybe it was a very long time for you, but that thing has been on my mind for the last forty years. We need to bring it down for old man Bernard."
Kairos then said, "What I mean is after we decimate that bastard, of course. Do you want to live together with this old man?"
Meyeri replied, "If you insist."
Kairos was flushed. "That was quick; I was thinking that you would reject the idea first, but..."
Meyeri put her index finger on his mouth, stopping him, then said,
"There are no times left. I want to cherish our moment together as soon as possible. I remember the first year you went camping outside the barrier. I guess you were falling all over me too hard."
Then she gave a tiny laugh. Kairos blushed and then laughed for a bit. It was definitely a rare moment that could be captured for both of them.
Meyeri then continued, "Would you want to spend your night here?"
Kairos was thinking for a bit. Then he said,
"Wait a bit here."
He walked outside. All the knights were there, standing idly while waiting for their leader to give another direction.
"All knights! Today we will stay here! Don't forget to put someone on the lookout as always!"
They answered synchronously, "Yes, sir!"
Then he went inside and spent the night there. The night was short, and then the sunrise greeted them in the morning. Wedgewood was watching the knights train with their swords. He was trying to grab his stick, but then the stick flew away. The boy flinched, and when he looked at his back, a display of an enraged witch was shown.
Meyeri said, "I said swordsmanship is a no-go! Why do you keep training with a stick?"
Wedgewood bowed deeply, indicating that he was sorry. Then the old knight walked in, looked at the situation, and said,
"Why are you really stingy about him training swordsmanship anyway, Mey?"
"Are you blind? Look at his hair! He has the talent to even surpass me. It will be a waste if he neglects training with his lumine."
"Couldn't he just do both?"
"No! It's not good to do both, since it will hinder his progress. It's really hard to learn magic! Wedge, come here!"
Cutting in the corner for winning the arguments, they flee toward the inside of the forest of death. They found themselves in a secluded area within the forest of death.
Mey said, "Okay, now we've reached the place. I'm going to give you a deeper understanding of what we need to do."
Unlike when she was in an old lady figure, she flicked her hand and instantly created the magic circles.
"Let's call Zeus." She then channeled her lumine to the magic circle, and likewise the white cat spawn. Zeus looked at Mey and said, "It's time already?"
Mey replied, "Not yet, but we still have things to do. Could you do me a favor to train this young boy?"
Zeus replied, "Okay, leave it to me."
Mey, then leave the scene. It's just both the young boy and the white cat communicating with telepathy.
Zeus said, "Okay, boy, I will personally train you today! Call me master from now on."
Wedgewood replied, "Yes, master! What are we going to do now?"
Zeus replied, "What has Mey taught you?"
Wedgewood replied, "She told me to create a white ball with my lumine."
Zeus sighed, "This is why a genius cannot teach others."
Wedgewood replied, "Was she wrong?"
Zeus replied. "She didn't teach you the most crucial stuff yet! Normal practitioners of magic normally call us first and make a contract. She is a genius, so she skipped all of that. I guess she was confused herself when you couldn't do it and just left big piles for me to deal with."
Wedgewood replied, "What should I do then?"
Zeus replied, "Okay, now you just need to listen to me. How could you use magic?"
Wedgewood replied, "By channeling my lumine into..."
Zeus cut Wedgewood's answer and said, "Wrong! You're cutting in the simple answer!"
Wedgewood was shocked and replied, "With words?"
Zeus shaken his head and sighed, "Ugh, Mey really did everything wrong. Magic could only be born with your brain! Knowledge! That's the answer."
Wedgewood nods.
Zeus then continued, "If there is nothing within your brain, you can't cast magic! That's why people bestowed with magic have lumine all over their hair. They have the talent to use their heads. That's why there is no witch or wizard that teaches each other, because it will hence disrupt their own training."
Wedgewood replied, "Is that why Meyeri left me with you?"
Zeus replied, "Then Meyeri is a genius in making this decision as well. You catch on quick; that's a good trait to have! OK, then aside from everything, now you know that it all comes from your brain."
Wedgewood replied, "Is lumine stored in our brain?"
Zeus replied, "You caught on quick. You're half right and half wrong. It was right that you said that the brain stored the lumine. But when you die, even if the brain stays intact, the lumine also leaves. But if you become invalid or your brain starts to malfunction, it will also leave. That's why purpose is needed, and when your existence doesn't have any purpose, it will leave you anyway."
Wedgewood replied, "We need to be alive and sane to have the ability to use magic. I'm sane now, but why can't I channel any magic like Mey did?"
Zeus replied, "You might have more potential than Mey, but not everyone has the same trait. Mey herself has an extraordinary way of thinking to solve a problem without the need for guidance. But her own intelligence was not up there yet. Your intelligence, other wise, might reach God's level or even more."
Wedgewood replied, "How could you know?"
Zeus replied, "Not every 10-year-old child could understand what I was saying earlier. Normally, they will just not focus after 1 minute of talk but look at you, attentively listening to me bramble these nonsenses. You rivaled God in intelligence, but don't let it become your downfall since the more you know about things, the more the truth will haunt you. You're still a child, but you weigh like an adult human; you bear a lot of responsibility on your shoulders. But now let's focus on one thing first, and that is magic. First..."
The white cat's appearance changes into that of a teenage human with white skin and yellow, spiky hair.
Zeus then said, "With this form, it will be easier; now turn your back against me."
Wedgewood turned his back, then Zeus grabbed his head with both of his hands.
Zeus said, "Feel my energy guiding you through your head to your body; don't fight the energy, but try to grasp how it flows. Oh, before that, I forgot, sit and cross your legs."
Wedgewood meditated with Zeus holding his head for days. Mey has packed a lot of food and water that's not easily stale, expecting this event to occur.
Zeus said, "Okay, boy, I think you're ready now. Give it all you got!"
Wedgewood clapped both his hands, then his right hand shined with his lumine, then consecutively held out his hand and pointed it at the tree in front of him with both his index finger and little finger. A little white ball was created in front of both of his fingers, and then lightning was shot at the trees. It was not aimed correctly at the middle, but nevertheless, the impact was great enough to leave big burn marks on the tree. He smiled brightly, clenching his fist upon successfully doing the magic.
Zeus then flew to him and said, "Good job. 'Tonitrus Shots' got a good ring on it."
Wedgewood blushed; he was still not used to how Zeus read his mind.
Zeus then continued, "Okay, then I think the basic training session is over for now; I sensed Mey's lumine."
Mey was then seen flying toward them from a distance.
Mey said, "Hi Zeus, were I disrupting the training?"
Zeus replied, "Nah, you are in time. We just finished. Look at that poor tree your disciple has made."
Mey was shocked, and she said to the boy, "You do have a talent after all. You did great, Wedgewood."
Then she continued talking to Zeus, "Okay, now we need to go to old friends from the Elven Kingdom."
Zeus replied, "Oh, the archer from back then?"
Meyeri replied, "Do you want to join us?"
Zeus replied, "Nah, I'm better off in heaven. See you around; just call me when the boy needs anything!"
Meyeri and Wedgewood bowed deeply to him. Then he poofed back to heaven.
