"Okay, boy, before we start, is there any question in your mind?" Zeus said.
"Why are you the one teaching me, and not Poseidon?" Wedgewood asked.
"Did you know that I taught all five other gods that were known?" Zeus said.
"What?" Wedgewood was confused.
"Yes, I was the one that taught other gods known magic and even granted them my benediction. It was a long story, but since I had much to do, I asked them to help me control elements in the world. Even if an individual could do anything, that doesn't mean he or she could do everything by himself or herself. But I'm not the God of Creation himself. " Zeus explained.
Zeus then realizes what he has accidentally spoiled.
"What? God of Creation? Haven't we only had seven gods? The seventh god is Chronos." Wedgewood asked.
"Chronos is..." Zeus said.
Then he paused himself for a bit and thought about how he should rephrase the matter.
"We're talking using telepathy, so nobody will hear about what I'm saying to you. Chronos is not the seventh god. She was an impostor, but nobody should know this before the time. Promise me, boy." Zeus said.
"What? What are you guys going to do?" Wedgewood said.
"In another week, we're going to fight Exadactylus. After that..."
Meyeri then came flying and brought lunch, disrupting the communication between them. The boy then looked upward.
"Boy, time to eat. I made your favorite food again today." Mey said while smiling.
The boy smiled forcefully. Mey noticed that and looked at Zeus.
"He was not able to stand above the water and has been feeling bad about it since you were teaching him for a while."
Mey then hugged Wedgewood and said, "It's fine, boy. Just take it one step at a time."
The boy then felt calm. Zeus looked at them and had just realized that the boy was still too young to handle all of this. He felt bad for the boy.
"Zeus, let's eat together, three of us." Mey said.
"Okay," Zeus replied, then sat on the carpet. Today's menu includes sandwiches and oranges.
The boy peeled the orange, ate it, and made a puckering face. Mey and Zeus looked at him and chuckled.
"Was it that sour?" Mey said while reaching for his orange and giving some of it to Zeus, and both of them ate it at the same time and made a funny puckering face synchronously. They all then laughed together.
"I'll be gone for a bit now. Icarus was asking me to bring some stuff to the table ASAP. I'll be back tomorrow. Zeus, please take care of him for a while." Meyeri said this while bowing to Zeus.
"Yes, Mey. Leave it to me."
Meyeri then flicks her hand and leaves the place. The boy waved to her while she was leaving. She then turned around, waved back to the young boy, and left. Zeus then inhaled deeply, sighing.
"Okay, for now, let's just continue the training. I'll be teaching you another lightning spell. This is one of my original spells, but I never teach them to anyone, not even Meyeri. I'll teach this to you for a reason."
"What is the reason?"
"We'll need to fight Exadactylus without Meyeri help. You and I will provide help with the old party."
"Why is Meyeri not helping?"
"Everything happens for a reason. You knew a bit of the truth just now. Let's focus our minds on training since you're growth will be crucial for landing a good one on the enemy."
"Okay." The boy's face changed, knowing how dire the situation has become."
Zeus then clapped his hand and then
*POOF*
A single white staff appears, and then Zeus holds it. The shape changed to an infinite pattern, and the color changed to yellow.
"This is called blitzier. It identifies me as the owner. First, what you need to do is transfer your lumine into this."
Zeus poured his lumine inside the blitzier. The blitzier sparked lightning all over, then he threw it straight at a tree in front of him.
*ROARRRR*
The once-huge tree suddenly became all black and burned. Then it went straight back exactly to his hand.
"This is the power of this divine weapon. I'll overwrite the spell embedded in the weapon to also recognize you as the owner, but it had a peculiar attribute." Zeus said.
"What is it?" Wedgewood asked.
Zeus then gave the divine weapon to the boy. The boy held it, and it returned to its original shape and color.
"It will reshape itself as you imagine it to be. Therefore, you'll need to think about what kind of weapon suits you best in combat. It's kind of tricky because each individual has a different combat style. Try to imagine." Zeus said.
Wedgewood nodded and started imagining, and then the divine weapon started to change shape. First, it became longer than before, and then its base reshaped and became a hilt. The guard part was reshaped into something resembling a lilac's petals, and it's pommel had a distinctive lightning mark. Secondly, the upper part of the weapons changed, not making a blade but rather resembling a baton.
"A blunt sword," Zeus said.
The boy shakes his head. He then channels his lumine, and the lilac's petal creates sparks. Then he makes a downward strike, and when he does it, the lilac's petal spins fast and is launched from the tip of the baton, hitting the tree and leaving a burning hole in the tree. Then the boy pulled the baton, and the lilac's petal went back.
"What? How could you do that without lumine? Oh, did you imagine a fishing rod when you created this? You get the idea from my usage of the weapon?" Zeus said.
The boy nodded at everything that Zeus clarified. Zeus was amazed at how he creatively created the weapon. He then trained until the night with his new weapon.
"Too heavy?" Zeus asked.
Zeus watched as the boy's hand trembled to lift the cup that holds water inside it. He has been swinging his new weapon nonstop all day, and his muscles are aching all over the place.
"It's hard to control the blitzier. Is it more important to learn this than water walking?" Wedgewood said it telepathically.
"Through the new weapon, you're trying to learn the containment that is applicable to a fight. Learning how to water walk wouldn't help you since you will be less likely to fight above water since monsters are invading the land." Zeus said.
"Why are we suddenly hasting all of this?" Wedgewood asked.
Zeus then thought that it's bad to leave the boy out in the cold and then replied.
"Ok, I'm going to tell you a story. Tell tales about a witch called Stagnate."
