Another scream followed, different from Detective Samuel's own and Mr. Baron immediately turned back and hurried towards where the detective was. Without asking anything, he could already see why he screamed like that. Just above him is a body hanging upside down on the tree and he saw a piece of wood sticking out from his chest. His lips slightly parted when he took in another detail and he quickly caught the detective by the collar before he would run away from there in fear.
"There is someone we have to save in the forest," he said to him and his eyes moved towards the direction he heard the other scream. "And someone we might have to kill," he added.
The detective hit his hand away but Mr. Baron quickly took hold of him again and he could feel him shaking. He raised his eyes, looking slightly surprised that the detective was that scared.
