Johan watched as Melanie left the lunchroom and he let out a soft sigh before moving his eyes to look at Harper who still stood there.
"Uhm…I'm sorry, I didn't know my presence would make her leave," she apologized immediately.
"No," he said with a wave of his hand, "you didn't make her leave."
Harper set her lips into a thin line and then took her seat where Melanie stood from. Rubbing her hands together, she smiled at him and said, "You must have a lot going on."
"No, I don't," Johan said and Harper blinked her eyes almost immediately. "Why do you ask?"
"Nothing really," Harper said with a smile. "So, how are things with you and uhm, Scarlet?" She asked.
A sigh escaped Johan's nose and he replied simply, "Fine."
"Hmm no," Harper said, "that doesn't sound fine to me. Do you want to talk about it?"
"No," he said and lowered his eyes before moving it to the entrance.
