Paige listened to what Mr. Baron has to say about the incident of last night. He had kept it from her yesterday and said he would tell her after she is calm. Now he is in her house, ready to reveal what happened to Scarlet and why she was unconscious when he brought her back and why she can't remember any of what happened to her. She is nowhere close to calm. They had both watched her leave the house in the morning and he did not try to stop her. She guessed she is the only one who is worried about her daughter.
"Paige," Mr. Baron started and she rubbed her palms anxiously, "I told you before that it is nothing serious. I was with the detective when you called me that Scarlet is missing and I told him immediately that we need to go look for her. I had to cancel our operation so you know how that is," he said. "Well, we heard screams and there was a dead body."
Paige used her hands to cover her mouth and she shook her head.
