Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 – The First Trade Agreement

Third person POV

Later, at 3 in the afternoon, Lloyd and Jasiel are at Lloyd's office. Jasiel commented on how strong and smart Lloyd was being the leader of his country. He is now considering signing a trade agreement with him. Lloyd was amazed that his plan worked, but he decided to reveal to him about his past. So, he leaned over and whispered on Jasiel's ear his short summary of his past, including his former identity as Nate Wole.

Moments later, the king was shocked to hear that, and Zeke, who was there the whole time, confirms it with his testimony. Jasiel was disgusted by Langton's treatment of Lloyd because it was his kingdom's trading partner for so long. He decided to cut all relations with Langton and switched to Wooda. But Lloyd tells him to think about it first before he would do it.

Eventually, Jasiel agrees with him, before showing the trade agreement to Lloyd. Lloyd reads the contents it, before signing it with his signature of his new name. After that, Jasiel promises to keep their meeting and his discovery of Lloyd's past confidential.

"Thank you so much, your Highness," Lloyd responded with gratitude.

Later at night, Jasiel was taking a bath in the private bathhouse with Lloyd. He commented on how the water was hot enough to produce steam. Lloyd explains to him how he did it, with his knowledge of engineering. In response, the king was impressed once more, this time, with his knowledge.

The next morning, in front of the Undead animals, Lloyd and Jasiel shook hands as an indication of their trade agreement. Both sides applauded their new ties. After that, Jasiel and his entourage left the country.

Over the next couple of days, merchants from Kalelis came to Wooda to trade with the locals, and new goods flowed into the country. Some became cheaper to be sold. In exchange, Lloyd's people gave their products and produce to the merchants. Livestock and poultry are also introduced to the country as well so the Undead animals didn't need to rely solely on hunting for the most part. As a result, Wooda prospered from it. Lloyd received a lot of happy letters from the people of Kalelis, complimenting his effort on production. But, the letters were a lot, so he needed help from his subordinates. His subordinates did so, and began to read most of the letters. But, there's only one problem: They couldn't read the writing script of the humans.
