Third person POV
A few days later, at Baleville, a young woman with dark green, long hair and black eyes was walking the down streets holding a leather file folder containing her resumes. She had been applying to different schools in different countries as a teacher, but she was rejected every time due to her unique, "unacceptable" teaching style. She had just graduated as a well-educated scholar in basic school subjects and had a desire to be a teacher at a school. That woman is Maria Lestew, a native of Kalelis.
Sighing in despair because of getting rejected many times, Maria decided to rest up on the sidewalk under a tree to recharge after a few hours of walking.
"How I supposed to get a job?" she thought. "I don't want to get married yet."
She was pressured to get married by her father shortly after graduation.
But she wants to postpone that expectation with a job so she could prove to her father that she is independent.
Yet so far, no progress was made.
Then, a few minutes later, she stood up and looked at the tree, one of her favorite things in life, only to see a poster nailed on the tree trunk. She then took a closer look on what it says. It was the flyer ad Lloyd made for a new teacher at his new school. (At this time, the school at Lewole was just finished being built, and Lloyd filled the position as a teacher for all the subjects temporarily for a while, leaving the administrative work to Zeke and the other subordinates.)
"Wooda?" she commented in a low voice. "What is that country? I never heard about it before."
She then looked at the bottom of the ad, seeing the promises being listed there.
Maria wasn't for the money or anything materially so she didn't care about it at all; all that matters is that she wants the job.
"Free food and housing?" she thought. "What housing do I get?"
Seeing an opportunity, she tore the flyer from the tree trunk and began her journey towards Wooda, following the directions being listed in the far bottom of the ad. This took 5 hours on foot, but at almost 5 in the afternoon, she arrived at the front border gates of Lewole, Wooda. Upon seeing her as a human, the Undead animal guards, as humans, intervened. "Who are you human? What is your business here?"
But when she saw their blood red eyes, Maria knows that they are Undead animals as humans and was terrified by them, backing away a bit.
"I'm...I'm here for the job as a teacher?" she said while showing the flyer ad to them.
The two guards saw the flyer ad and recognizes it, and eventually, they stopped intimidating her and went to open the gates for her.
This really confuses and puzzles Maria a lot.
"Come with us," one of the Undead animals said to her.
Despite being confused, Maria did so, and she set foot in the country.
