Chapter 27
Breath leaves Isabella's lungs as she walks along the path in front of her. No one the wiser that she has left her compound. Sneaking out is the norm for her. Zarracen's appearance has made it harder to do and for the last few days sense meeting with her mom the knight's attention upon her has doubled. Videle was upon her like a blanket trying to cocoon her.
The attention was lovely but a bit constraining. She needs to be able to move alone at times for her own sake as she does tonight. The only reason she could escape Zarracen's senses was due to tiring the knight out with magic training causing her to drain most of the Videle out of her leaving her exhausted.
