Chapter 28
Candles light the room. As they slowly melt the scent of wax and honeysuckle permeates the room. A lone figure surrounded by candles in a circle prays to the statue in front of her. A figure of a woman held high on a pedestal in front of her. The figure was in all sense of the words plain having only the eyes which were black orbs of onyx standing out in comparison to the grey stone visage meant to capture her image.
"O'lady voyager of the stars I pray to you for deliverance for my wicked ways of lust towards your divine children. Please strike me with the strength of a thousand suns to overpower this foolish need of mind to protect your lovely divine descendants," swift muttering of prayer from the former apprentice Barrier Priestess. A low blaze of dark blue erupts around her so beautifully that if her eyes were open, she would've wept in awe.
