Isabella sits here at this table after coming to the realization that she could not just simply ask her mother for help. This Exl situation was a test for her as much as it was for Celeste. Sadly, Celeste had an entire organization at her fingertips. Isabella had Galt Eskola of course and the men and women before her.
They weren't necessarily friends, but they were close confidantes for Isabella. The five of them would get together on the occasion to discuss plans for either the business one of them had started or to discuss other political happenings within the country. They were all second or third sons of daughters of noble families with little to no chance of gaining heirship of hereditary titles.
