Chapter 33
While Isabella is speaking with her allies. Zarracen walks into an upscale restaurant to see her friend waving almost enthusiastically at her. She approaches with a smile. Kayiback stands on her arrival before sitting when she pulls her chair out to sit.
"It's been a while," Kayiback points out. Zarracen shrugs.
"True. I've been busy with my new job," Zarracen reminds him of her being thrown into a role that she hated from the beginning. Though, now she's actually enjoying it along with the bit of freedom the role gives.
"I guess that little arrest didn't help in easing you into the role," he grimaces hawk eyes softening just a bit.
"Oh actually, it did help. Because Princess Celeste was using that as an excuse to stall my appointment. But enough of that."
