Taking a deep as elvira disappears into the night, the full moon rises higher into the sky, casting a silvery glow on the forest. The wind rustles through the trees, and the night creatures begin to stir.
A wolf howls in the distance, and elvira feels a primal connection to the creature, the connection is strong, undeniable. She followed the sound to it's source and her breath caught in her throat as she spotted the most magnificent wolf she'd ever seen.
He was massive with silvery fur and piercing eyes. The wolf noticed her presence and began to circle her, it suddenly paused, it's form shifting and transforming. In it's place stood a man, tall and muscular with piercing ice blue eyes.
"You're not from around here, are you?!" He asked his voice low and smooth. "this is my territory and I don't take kindly to intruders!"
Elvira cocked her head to the side, a sly smile playing on her lips. "oh really, well I'm not on for following rules big guy. And you really don't know who you're talking to."
The man arched an eyebrow, his gaze taking on a dangerous edge. "Enlighten me then" he dawled, crossing his arms over his broad chest. "I'd love to know who it is that thinks they can waltz into my territory and start throwing their weight around."
Elvira just smirked, leaning against a nearby tree. "Let's just say I'm not your average intruder, and leave it at that."
"You'd best be moving then!" He growled, his anger visible.
Elvira flashed him a smirk "don't worry big guy, I'm not here to cause trouble. I'm just taking a stroll and admiring the scenery, it's a beautiful forest you've got here." She said and kept walking, her confident stride belying her amusement at the man's display of possessiveness.
As elvira continued on her way he couldn't help but admire her confidence and boldness. Elviras stroll eventually led her out of the forest and onto a dusty winding path.
As she trekked along, she couldn't help but reflect on her encounter with the man. He needs to work on his hospitality game.
As she got to her cozy little home. She took a moment to breathe in the the fresh air, feeling a sense of freedom wash over her. The man was a distant memory now, just another character in her ever-growing collection of encounters.
But somehow she had a feeling they might cross paths again.
"Another day, another drama" she says to herself as she feels the rays from the sun on her face. She sighs and walks into the bathroom.
As she steps into the shower, she lets the warm water cascade down every part of her body, memories of the man who raised her, john hamilton washes over her along with the greif of losing him.
She remembers his kind eyes, the way he always seemed to know the right thing to say, the sound of his laughter. It feels like a punch in the gut to be reminded of what she's lost.
She can't escape the memories now it's flooding her mind, the sight of his body, broken and bloody, I felt an intense wave of anger wash over me directed at those hunters, an intense visceral reaction that threatens to consume me.
The rage is building, pulsing through my veins like a living thing. The sound of something snapping outside the bathroom door pulled me back to reality.
I got out of the shower, dripping water onto the floor and I wrap a towel around my body. I glide towards the door, opening it slowly revealing my dimly lit hallway.
I can feel a presence in the house, a malevolent energy that seems to pulse through the air. But I stand firm, ready to face whatever lurks in the darkness. I step out into the hallway, my bare feet making no sound on the creaky floorboards.
The air is thick with tension, and I can sense that I'm being watched. Suddenly, a loud crash echoes from somewhere in the house, followed by the sound of footsteps pounding down the hall.
