Chapter 7 - My favourite weapons.. The unfair kind!

Stirring from my sleep I felt incredibly light even after the strenuous training that I did yesterday. With a small yawn I stood up and moved to the kitchen for something to eat. Making some pancakes I sat down and devoured them as if I had never eaten before. Although I couldn't taste much I was still left satisfied as I continued my routine.

The house that Mishia had shown me to was incorporated with nature but it was extremely futuristic at the same time giving a modern and rustic blend that I found appealing to my eyes.

Donning a loose vest and some trousers I tried to control my excitement at the premise of creating a weapon that may give me an advantage.

Stepping out of the door my instincts screamed at me that something was wrong. Ducking down I barely dodged a fist that was aimed at my face, Rolling to create momentum I stood up on edge. My body was screening at me that something was wrong, sweat poured from my head as my body filled with a churning feeling at how close to dying I was.

My opponent appeared in front of me in all her glory with a deep and ominous smile on her face.

"Mornin hehe, I hope you liked my little greeting."(M)

"Well that's one way to say hello to someone. Morning by the way."(N)

"Hehe don't tell me you are upset it was just a joke"(M) A cute pout was on her face

Quite the deadly joke wouldn't you say?

Almost as if sensing my thoughts she seemed to respond as if omniscient.

"If you couldn't dodge that then all the training yesterday was for nothing.

Anyways you wanted to create your own weapon right. I have set up everything we will need in the gazebo so all you have to do is draw a detailed blueprint of it and leave the rest to me."

She puffed her chest as if she was looking for praise.

"All right then shall we go?"

"You're no fun at all!"

Ignoring her comments I walked to the gazebo and began on my pet project. I was about as knowledgeable in gun designs and functionality as the next person so I was hoping to create a base for the weapon that I could use and then add magic to it in some way since I wouldn't know how to finish it otherwise. When I had finally finished the sketches Mishia had stars in her eyes at the project and we worked on creating what she called the best weapon ever forged in the realm.( Were in her own realm so it makes little sense)

It was a simple double action pistol similar to a P220 but with slight modifications that Mishia made for magic to be introduced. The sides were ingrained with magic circles and multiple runic languages to create multiple effects that could be activated by pushing small buttons in the grip of the gun and got the gun itself to function. The entire mechanism was made of this dark silver material with a purple sheen that she never fully explained about just saying that I will find out once I wake up in her world.

But that also made no sense since this is only possible in her domain right?

We spent a week in which we sparred and worked on creating the best version of weapon and a basic version that I could create early into my new life. We worked our hardest to use all of our knowledge compiled together to improve the magic circles and the reloading system for lethality and easier use. Both of us had a rather analytical mind and we talked about magic application and technology non stop afterwards as I gained a better grasp at the concepts using my fantasy knowledge.

I felt a little bit of joy talking to her like this. While we had a month together she was using a high power time dilation spell to slow the time even further. In total since I had come here we had probably spent a day and a half of our time limit.

After running the numbers we had around 200 days before I had to leave so it would be split into 4 parts consisting of:

Martial arts/Weapon training

Knowledge of the world and languages

Magic training and spell creation

Mana and aura gathering/ Body strengthening.

My soul had been linked to my (her) body so that the more progress that I made here the less restrictions I would have on my body.

Finally sitting down we were both covered in sweat. In front of us was our creation. A sleek handgun that glistened in a black light covered in runes that lit up once enough mana had been poured into them, However this would barely happen unless I wanted to activate one of the functions however they were still being tested and refined for what we wanted them to do, so most of the time it would just be sleek and black in appearance.

Currently it was version 1.0 as I wanted to continue tinkering with it throughout my stay as I amassed more knowledge.

Grabbing the gun and a holster that Mishia had made for me I holstered the gun and attached it to my waist along with 3 magazines.

Standing opposite me was Mishia except she looked nothing like before. Her silver hair was in a high ponytail and she donned some armour made of some of that unknown metal. She looked closer to a god of war than the Mishia that I had gotten to know over the week. Moving her hand to her side the open space cracked for a second before a scythe emerged from the crack. It looked like ice in one way but metal in another. It was blood red and covered in black inlays that coursed through the scythe until it merged into the grip where she seemed to hold almost reflexively.

It was truly a piece of art however the aura that it seemed to emit told me another story. I could tell that it had been drenched in the blood of many foes and had seen countless battles to the death. In a way it made me feel sombre as it had told me how much she had suffered just to survive.

"This is one of my favourite weapons 'CALAMITY'! It uses the blood of its victims to constantly strengthen itself like I do. It was originally made out of my blood however with the amount of foes I have faced I doubt that even a percent of the current calamity is made of my blood.

Twirling the scythe she took an unfamiliar stance.

"Anyways show me what you can do with your weapon!"

Pulling it out of the holster I loaded a magazine and dropped my centre of gravity. A cold sheen flashed through my eyes as I prepared for battle against the Bloody Valkyrie in front of me.
