*Ding*
I woke up to the sound of the system notification.
{Goblin Forest has refreshed. Monsters have respawned.}
"What?" I was confused. The monsters respawned? Then I heard more goblin noises all around the forest.
"CHIIIIK"
"KEKHEHAKHEHA"
"CHIKKIHICHIICHIK"
Judging by the sound, there seems to be a lot of them.
"HEEEELP!"
Real familiar with that one.
"KWAHHAHAHA"
Now that's new, I never thought a goblin could make a deep voice. I crawled toward the edge to avoid possibly garnering attention. I peeked and saw that I'm surrounded by goblins, more precisely, I think I'm in the middle of their camp.
"I need to plan my next course of action, I have to escape here alive," I muttered under my breath. Then I heard a goblin scream behind me, I turned around and there was four thief goblin, one was already calling the attention of the others while the other three charged toward me. I immediately cast two {Razor Wind} and kill all four of them since they are nicely lined up in front of me.

"CAN'T THIS SYSTEM SILENCE THIS NOTIFICATION!" I yelled as panic sets in while I pick up myself from the ground. The knockback of using two {Razor Wind} is still superb.
"GRRRUUAAAAHHH!!" A roar so loud it hurt my ears. I ran away in the opposite direction of the roar and used {Razor Wind} to give me more distance after jumping off the edge. I used two {Fire Needle} to kill off enemies in the location I will land.
...
"The system really silenced itself." I was a bit relieved with that since I won't be distracted by the constant notification I get while I run and kill the goblins. I multi-cast both {Razor Wind} and {Fire Needle} at the same time while using the shockwave to keep myself at a distance from the goblins.
I am casting endlessly which means I'm leveling up. I'm not sure how many goblins are still there but in my line of sight, they look endless.
"That's good for me though!" I smiled from ear to ear just thinking about the experience I get from killing all of these goblins.
"Damn, they have the buff again wherein they just rush constantly, they give me no time to think of anything." I was groaning from exhaustion as I could feel the fatigue setting in.
I ran until I was at the edge of the goblin forest. There I entered a wide open space full of grass. At a distance, I saw tall concrete walls.
"I mustn't go there, my precious experience would be shared..." I ran to the edge of the forest and entered it once again.
"Their numbers seemed to have decreased by a lot." I was trying to assess the situation while I'm still running away while casting skills.
"KKRRRUUUUUUU!" A high-pitched bird sound-like noise emanated deep within the forest and the goblins stopped chasing me and retreated with haste.
"What the hell happened?" I was puzzled for they suddenly stopped chasing me and went back. They should still be at the giant tree stump.
I fell down on my knees as the fatigue set in almost immediately after relaxing. I checked the surrounding with {Mana Sense} and seems like there's no goblin within 500 meters. I opened up my status to see my level.

"Wow, my level increased by 6!" It feels amazing, that army of goblins was a blessing in disguise.
"I'll put 5 on Agility and Vitality then 15 on Intelligence and finally 5 on Magic. This should help me cast more skill and also be able to survive." I let out a sigh of relief as I didn't die this time.

"Hmmm, as I thought, the required exp really bumps up by a lot at every level. I killed countless goblins and it only get me to level 12."
"Ah my beloved tree stump, where should I rest now." Feeling sad about finding another place to rest. I really got attached to a piece of wood.
I fell asleep by the tree side along the edge of the forest. My {Mana Sense} alarmed me of movement near me, there seem to be two of them. When they got near, I stood up immediately and was ready to cast my skills.
"Easy, there," an old grumpy voice tries to calm me down but I didn't let my guard down and was still ready to cast.
"We're the guards from the Bag-iw village. We came here cause we saw a lot of commotion. Was everything here your doing, young man?" He pointed at the piled-up corpses nearby.
"Yes..." I uttered.
"You must be a very experienced adventurer to be able to not get wounded during a battle against a horde of goblins." He smiled gently accompanied by a little raspy laugh.
The other guard was checking out the corpses and writing down something.
"You must be curious about what he is doing," the old man said as he caught me watching the other guard.
"Not really," I said coldly as I do not have enough energy to even hold a conversation right now.
"You must be really exhausted from the battle, and judging by your outfit, you must be a person from the modern world!" He said that with enthusiasm.
Right, I had no change of clothes so I've been wearing this school uniform for more than a week now. I really need to change and to ... bath.
"Come, I'll guide you to the town. My partner is done writing up the report."
"Alright."
We walked in the open plain and reached the gate of the town.

The huge gate opened when the guard tapped a badge on the side of the gate. Seems like a keycard. Also, is everything here huge? Even this gate and castle wall is humongous. When the gates fully opened, it revealed a city bustling with people; kids running around and playing, shopkeepers yelling to sell their goods, guards on a giant lizard patrolling around, people that look like adventurers walking around, even the loud drunk men can be heard from a nearby tavern.
"Welcome to the town of beginnings, Bag-iw!" The old man shouted with a welcoming and pure joy in his voice.
