Lucas smiles as Kaneko rises standing.
"And here I was thinking Ajax was incredible!" Lucas looks between the freshman. Kaneko rises as a glow radiates from his eyes. A calmness radiating off of him. 'He copied our greatest talents after watching us use them!... He's in a state of flow' Russ crosses his arms slightly distracted.
"The State of Flow is only possible when one is at the top of their game… What did he do between this and the last match?" Braken's captain takes a deep breath. 'Seeing them in person is so different than over video… so this is LakeWood Technical High School?' All of LWT glare at them intensely.
Kaneko tosses the ball high and jumping up. Missing the ball and landing. The Ref blowing his whistle. BCHS 1-2 LWTHS. He rotates his hands.
"Substitution… Kaneko Vlast' #3… in for… Richmond Walker #4" Kurai smirks.
"Here comes our ace up the sleeve" Kaneko scoffs and walks off the court.
"Show them what we're made of…" Richmond nods.
"Loosing that point was because of you being too self confident…" Richmond walks onto the court. Kaneko sits down on the bench.
Braken's setter tosses the ball up and overhand serves it. Ajax easily receives it as Kurai looks around. 'Let's make your name known!' Kurai prepares to set left as the blockers rush over to block Richmond. Kurai setting the ball right. 'Captain!' Lucas jumps up with only one blocker and slamming the ball into the court. 'Sorry Richmond, this one's mine!' Richmond lands shocked. 'he used me… as a Decoy!? That freshman just… manipulated a Senior!' He smiles.
Kurai walks to the back of the court and catching the ball. 'Finally… he's out of my way… I can win this game on my own!' He tosses the ball high and slamming it onto the court. Kurai landing and tightly clenching his fist. 'See me Kaneko!?... I don't need you anymore!' Kaneko sits at the bench wide eyed. 'He doesn't need me anymore…?... Than I don't need him!... I'll train to win with my own strength!... I'll surpass you Kurai!' Kaneko glares at the court with intensity and anger filled eyes. The ref whistling. BCHS 1-4 LWTHS.
"Good serve" Kurai tosses the ball high and jumping. Slamming the ball onto the court. 'This is me Kaneko! Who are you to be on the same court as me!?' The ref whistles. BCHS 1-5 LWTHS. Kaneko exhales.
"Let me back on the court" Kaneko glares at the net. RUss looking over at Kaneko. 'I know this is you're doing Kurai… What are you pulling on that court that's causing everyone to become so good?... I'm sorry Kaneko… I'm gonna leave you off the court for a bit… See what Richmond does…' Kurai tosses the ball.
"Good serve" slamming it onto the court as the ball bounces into a nearby un-used court. Russ nervously laughs. 'That is… if Kurai doesn't stop scoring points on his own… These two… feed off of each others drive to play' Russ smiles and claps. The whistle blows. BCHS 1-6 LWTHS. Kurai tossing the ball really high.
