Drip...
Drip....
Drip.....
This was the aftermath left when the water flooded the school once more. The Droplets leaked out from the boards, dampening the sand somewhat. When Solomon got back his bearings, he'd quickly realize that Adel has somehow got into a small section directly underneath the established building. It would be a problem, as he would have to crawl on all 4's due to how small the height is from himself to the school that is atop of his head. He'd keep an eye out by his sides, and to the sandy earth that acts as his ground. His shadow also doesn't seem to be anywhere by his side, either, due to how dark the area was. As a result, Solomon would prepare.
Drip....
Drip....
Drip....
Drip....
Every second he spent in this dark hole, crawling around, he could feel his senses being heightened. He could hear the water dripping down softly, hitting the sand and letting the sediments mold together. He could feel the grains in his palm. No signs of Adel, nor his assault as of yet, rather still nothingness. Pure Silence. Solomon kept his preparations the more he spent, trying to find an exit to this hole. The more he traveled, the more he was able to hear the sounds, as well as understand new ones. He was hearing something travel. Something was moving. Something was digging through the sand itself, as if it was dirt. This would be Solomon's escape, as he finishes his preparations. The thing is advancing quickly around the boy's location. It won't be long now.
Drip....
Drip....
Drip....
Drip....
Without another word, without another sign, the attack would be launched. The Sand exploded out from underneath Solomon, a hand being shown to try and grab his head, stabbing its nails towards him, as they rose up and chucked him across the watery floorboards and the dry ceiling, using the impact to attempt to break open his skull. Adel was on full display, arm missing, feet severed, yet somehow still standing. What he didn't expect, nay, what he hasn't expected, was for Solomon to use his attack for his advantage, as he would see what looked to be the likes of spots across his hand. Looking to the sorcerer's face, Adel could see that Solomon was covered, head to toe, in boils. "What the..." was all he could say, before more began to pop up, and while Solomon would be dropped, a cranial injury and the venom coursing across his face, said attacks would be seen also being from the Boils themselves, as they'd slowly shrink down and disappear as if they never existed. Solomon rubbed his head to check on his injury, yet the venom, and to an extent, the stab marks, were gone. Adel's body is riddled with these boils, slowly but surely leaking out the venom from his body, as well as some blood from the mixture. The boils spread at an increasing rate, making carbuncles all across his arm, and his face. Realizing the situation, Adel would attempt to remove them, his body hardening itself, preparing to shed once more.
When Solomon saw this process, he smirked to himself. "Gotcha." Within moments, his next phase of the plan kicked in, snapping his fingers as the boils quickly act up once more. The boils would begin to twitch and jerk around, before popping themselves and expelling out insects. Gnats. Locusts. Beetles. The insects quickly crawled across the shell that is shedding, entering in the cracks that were just occuring to finish his regeneration. The size of the cracks were just small enough for the gnats and locusts to fit in, with the beetles using their bodies as leverage. Quickly, one by one, they began to feast on Adel's new body. His sensitive skin being reacted almost instantly, as the Gnats gnawed at his flesh, while the locusts went to encompass and strike at his body, sending lashes and cuts that, although were minor, felt like a thousand stings from a whip. "Thou shall speak all that I command thee.....the Pharaoh's heart will harden as I multiply my signs...Throughout the land of Egypt, the Dust shall become Gnats....Throughout the land of Egypt, The very soot becomes that of Boils.....Thus says the Lord..."
"Enjoy yourself....To God's Punishment....The Plagues of Egypt!" Solomon's words rang true as Adel would try his hardest to swat the insects away, seeing them create more boils the more they connected to his skin. A punishment that is worse than death. Before Solomon knew it, the Snake-like man would fall straight onto the floor, the shed skin still ever present as a shell, while leaking of fluids from his new skin poured softly out from the cracks made. Solomon would turn back and make his way towards Zazel in the Hospital wing, assuming his job was done. He'd quickly see the Demon and have his arm wrap around the biblical sorcerer's shoulder. "You doing alright there?" Solomon would ask. The Demon only made incoherent sounds, which caused Solomon to sigh. "Alright, Alright.." He'd start, "Lets not waste our breath here. I handled that snake guy pretty easily. Your demons definitely helped weaken him. Thanks for that." More sounds were made by Zazel, most likely as an attempt to say thanks.
As the two limped their way out of the school, Solomon would do one more check up to see if the body was still present, to ensure that his attack was indeed a success. A Look of horror was plastered on his face when he saw the body disappeared. He'd put down Zazel gently on the side of the wall, his back being covered by Shady, as Solomon quickly looked around to find out how he was able to come back from such a cavalcade of attacks. Attacks that he believed were foolproof. Swiftly, as if by an unseen force, he was attacked again, a Kick straight to his face that launched the boy directly into a wall, causing heavy damage. When he tried to look up, the damage being hard to handle, he would see the man still standing. Half of his body was a shell, while the other half was still fresh skin, the gnats and locusts still feasting, yet the man, Adel, stood nonetheless. "HOW!!? LITERALLY HOW!!?? THAT SHOULD'VE DONE YOU IN!!" Solomon stated angrily, getting his head out of the wall, falling over to the floor.
"It did. I just happened to walk it off!" Would be Adel's replied, which infuriates the Biblical sorcerer more.
"THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE!"
"And? Life doesn't make sense. We still walk with it anyway! Besides, I can't pass up a match like this. Not without knowing you were holding back!"
"The heck did you sa-" Solomon's words were cut off by a simple sentence from the Snake Man.
"You heard me. You're holding back! You didn't want to kill me then. Why? You afraid of being like some sort of monster?"
The boy grew quiet. The boy grew still. He didn't raised his voice anymore, as Adel hit the nail in the coffin.
