The zombie's chest was constantly emitting red miasma, and the hand with blue radiance functioned like a cork—embedded in the chest to prevent the miasma from leaking out. Before long, the blue arm could no longer withstand the impact of the miasma, slowly being forced out and fell off.
"Ding, ding." A white jade pendant fell out, Zelda immediately picked it up, holding it in her palm. Shortly after, it transformed into a beam of yellow light and disappeared.
With the blue arm falling off, the zombie slowly twisted. It gradually straightened from a U-shape to an I-shape—this process was like some decaying machinery, it was quite unsettling to watch. What was even more nauseating was its hollow eye sockets turned towards the two, suddenly brightening up as if it was spewing fire, revealing a pair of beast-like pupils. Leonard now saw clearly, the zombie was actually wearing a golden headdress of priceless value, it looked like the remains of the Demon King Ganon after being skinned and dehydrated. Seeing the situation turn for the worse, he quickly drew his sword and stepped in front of the princess, prepared for any eventuality.
Sure enough, the red miasma in the zombie's chest gathered into a stream of energy, circled around, and crazily surged towards Leonard. Leonard could only use the Master Sword to resist: "What the hell is this, come at me!" The Master Sword seemed unable to stop the power of the red miasma, in a short while, it was completely eroded. Leonard's energy was also rapidly depleting. In the end, the Master Sword couldn't take it anymore, and self-detonated to counter the miasma. A piece of the sword tip exploded and flew, grazed the zombie's left face, and embedded itself into the distant wall. Unfortunately, the zombie was slightly cut by the shrapnel, and it completely revived.
"...So this is the Demon Slaying Sword? A blade forced by my miasma, utterly useless." The zombie groaned in a hoarse voice. As it spoke, it stood up, finally assuming some semblance of a human posture: "Zelda...bearer of the Demon Slaying Sword...Link...the hope mentioned by Rauru...is nothing more than this."
"How do you know our names?" Princess Zelda shouted out in caution. Leonard felt this zombie was unnerving, and it had just commanded the miasma to attack him. He felt nauseous, and a strong sense of revulsion rose from the bottom of his heart.
Ignoring them, the zombie focused all the power from the large hole in its chest into the energy stone above. This red power drove the stone to gradually ascend.
Meanwhile, outside, dust was swirling, and the entire castle was rapidly lifted by a mysterious power. Red flames were burning underneath, the more they burned, the castle rose slowly like a hot air balloon. From afar, it seemed as though the castle was uprooted from the ground, floating towards the sky.
In the underground, the zombie fell along with the cracking earth, then was buried deep down. Leonard's right hand had just been corroded by the red miasma, he had barely held on at the time, but now he couldn't bear it anymore, and he squatted on the ground, panting heavily. "Link!" Princess Zelda wanted to check on him, but the bricks under her feet had already cracked. A tremor came, and she suddenly fell into the abyss behind her. By the time Leonard reacted, Princess Zelda was already a meter away from him. Leonard quickly reached out his right hand, and the princess also tried her best to reach out, but it was too late. They were within reach, yet worlds apart. Zelda transformed into a beam of yellow light and disappeared into the darkness. However, Leonard didn't fall, he was grabbed by the blue arm and suspended mid-air. Finally, the arm suddenly pulled him up into the sky...
Outside, the castle ascended to the extreme, rocks fell with green trails. The entire Hyrule saw this scene, it was as if it was the end of the world.
After an unknown amount of time, green life force swirled around, slowly all infusing into the golden right arm. The life force gradually flowed into the broken point of the right arm bit by bit, eventually forming a normal right hand. "Zelda!" Leonard abruptly opened his eyes, found himself in an empty cave. Apart from him, there was no one else. He had not returned home, and he had no idea where the princess had gone...my right arm. It was clearly gone just now, how has it grown back now? Ah, he tried it, it could actually be used flexibly, just like before.
"Lord Link, you're awake. I heard about you from Lady Zelda. You're seriously injured now, but fortunately, your life is not in danger. At that time, your hand was so decayed that it threatened your life, so I had to make this move." He heard the voice but didn't see anyone. It was strange. Leonard stood up and found his Master Sword stuck not far away. He walked over and pulled it out. At first glance, the Master Sword had decayed beyond recognition, and only the hilt was left.
Only a small piece of the blade remained, the Master Sword had become a Master Dagger, a child's version at that.
Regardless, it was time to go out and have a look.
"Hey! Ha!" Leonard used the decayed Master Sword and with a couple of swings, he chopped off the vines blocking the doorway. He walked into the middle of a temple. In the center, there was a green disc filled with green rays of wisdom. What would happen if he pressed it? Leonard, a veteran player, confidently walked to the disc and pressed it. The green light disc made contact with his right hand, it broke upon touch, and a blue magic circle formed behind it. "Boom!" A loud noise sounded, and the huge grinding wheel nearby began to rotate. The temple's main door also opened slowly.
After wandering in the dark for a long time, Leonard couldn't wait to run out of this ghastly place. It involved climbing and swimming, but nothing could stop him. Along the way, he learned how to dive from a high platform, although his pike dive was nowhere near Quan Hongchan's. After swimming for a while, he found that his strength had recovered a bit, but it was still not as good as before. His health had been drained by decay, and now only three hearts were left. He didn't know how long he had stayed in the temple.
As he walked, Leonard found a stone chest, its whole body was bronze-colored, ancient and adorable. Subconsciously, he kicked the chest, and a pair of worn-out shoes popped out. It hurt quite a bit, and Leonard immediately held his slightly swollen right foot and danced on the spot. Ah, it was then he realized he was only wearing a pair of shorts. He would have to make do with them.
The exit was in sight, and he could see a few birds soaring in the sky outside. Walking into the light, he found himself in the sky. To be exact, he was at a corner exposed to the sky. Below was a vast sea of clouds, and in the distance, there were several small islands floating in the air, forming a shadow. It was spectacular!
Should he jump? Really jump? Would he die? Ah, worst case, he would just start over. After observing for a long time and finding no other way, Leonard jumped. Thus began his new journey in the land of Hyrule.
The strong wind pressure came, messing up Leonard's senses, but luckily he wasn't relying on his looks to get by. He spread his arms and kept merging into the sea of clouds. With the blue sky as the stage, he felt like the king of the world! The floating islands flew past him at high speed, and Leonard felt himself falling rapidly. The magnificent land of Hyrule, here I come. Leonard felt incredibly exhilarated, he hadn't felt like this in a long time. The review for junior high school third year was really tiring, he was out early and returning late every day...
"Gundam!" This term suddenly popped up in his mind. If he had a Gundam, he could roam the entire land of Hyrule. Yes, he should build a Gundam to play with! Also, he needed to find the beautiful Princess Zelda...
Before he finished thinking, he accelerated and fell into a pond. The water splashed high into the sky, and Leonard, filled with wind, soon surfaced and slowly swam to the shore. During the process, he wondered if he would die of exhaustion or choke in the pond if he didn't swim to the shore, dying before achieving anything.
