"Hi Rose. Looking pretty as always", he got up and was immediately hugged by a crying Melodia, "You made us all so worried". Releasing himself from her grip, "I am fine Melodia. See, completely fine",
Sam slept for three whole days and it was Rose who looked after him and also helped the other two recover . While the adventurers left, they completely blocked the exit and now they were stuck on this floor.
"So what are we going to do? Any ideas?", he asked. Everyone was clueless as they barely knew anything about the dungeon.
{ How about finding the nest first. Maybe we can find an exit or portal }.
Seeing Rose's suggestion, Melodia and Haru agreed immediately and looked towards Sam. "If everyone's okay with it", agreeing with them he started looking for the nest.
"How do you find a nest?", Melodia asked seeing Sam and Rose looking around. "You look for energy I guess", even Sam didn't knew as it was Sei who did all the work.
{ Energy impressions can be found all over the place. You have to find the pattern which creates a path and it will guide you to the nest. }
"Huh, it is beyond my ability to see it", she gave up immediately.
[ I can see some energy pattern ], Sei guided Sam to a big apple tree. The tree covered a large area and the light given by it lighted the whole area around it. It was laden with big red apples and its sight made everyone drool. Haru and Melodia immediately went and picked two apples and started eating.
"They are not poisonou... you both look like fools, hahaha", Sam saw their faces melting in delight and laughed. The taste of the apple was heavenly that even Sam couldn't help but become melt.
{ This place is bright unlike other places}
"This is the nest. Now try to find a way inside", everyone started looking for an entrance. For thirty minutes they looked but nothing was found. "Are you sure this is the place, Sam?", Haru went and stood next to the tree and supported himself against it. The tree started shining and Haru was sucked inside. Seeing him disappear Melodia panicked.
"Found the entrance", calming Melodia down they also went inside the tree. They were inside a large hall, the ceiling was very high and supported by large pillars. The walls were covered in beautiful design made from gold and jewels. It looked like they were standing in a castle.
"Look there is a big throne there", Melodia pointed out and ran for it. "Don't run, Melodia", Haru also ran after her.
"Are we inside the dungeon?", Sam found it a little odd how things looked. No matter how they looked it was a little odd.
{ This is a castle, I can see soldiers outside}, Rose pointed this to Sam.
[I had been feeling it since earlier but looks like the tree itself was a portal. I can feel this whole place surrounded by a holy barrier], Sei told Sam.
'Another trouble. I am in another trouble. Curse this luck of mine', Sam was aware of this development. "Haru, Melodia. We are leaving this place. Hah, Where have they gone?", Sam was even more frustrated at his team mates. "These idiots. Rose let's go and find them and leave this palace immediately".
Traversing the long corridors Sam was frustrated, "this place is built like a maze. Rose are you okay?". After searching more than twenty rooms they were tired. "Let us rest here", they found an empty room to hide.
'Can't you sense their energies Sei', Sam asked Sei's help.
[This place is under a first tier masking spell. Tracking energy here is a bit difficult but I will continue searching], Sei replied. The spell restricted his search into 50 meter radius.
The sun had already set down and the fatigue caused Sam to drift into sleep. Both of them slept while supporting each other.
