"She shouldn't have done that, Damon. She's just an innocent kid who knows nothing about our world," grumbled May, my housekeeper of five years. She has been my nanny ever since I lost her mother, and she insisted that she followed me even after I made the decision to leave her father's house many years ago. Rice field.
"Mei, I did nothing wrong. She needed a lesson. She'll be able to go wherever she wants." "Demon," she yelled at me. A few minutes after sending Soleil to the base, her voice echoed in the room I was in in the study. My mind was restless and I knew from that moment on that I could change at any moment. I knew what I was doing wrong, but there was no way to fix it.
After sneaking around for a while, I realized that Mei was plotting something. She didn't wait to ask what I needed and started talking. "Why are you so heartless? Why would you wear that fake mask on a girl you saved from your father in the first place?"
I turned to her angrily.
"Yes, it is my responsibility that I saved her. She has no right to know of our existence." Way," I assured her. "Why did you save her anyway?" she asked suddenly.
"none"
"Don't give me that daemon, it's nothing"
"It doesn't matter to you, May, why don't you go back to the job you were hired for and leave me alone? I want to breathe, but I think I can't breathe with you in this room." Increase."
"devil",
"Go out!" I commanded.
She bared her neck in complete submission and nodded.
"You're not so bad, Damon, you know your Vizio abilities, and we both know exactly what his intentions are for girls like him. I can't give you advice on what to do, but you shouldn't let another girl's innocent blood fall on your hands this time. That way I can save myself. "
She quickly walked out the door.
May said she knew how hard the words she said were and the effect it had on me.
I chased her in a dark rage, but it was too late for her as she was already running down her stairs. She already had her nails come off and I had a tantrum for the second time that day. I am half changed. Trying to control my inner beast took my breath away.
I grabbed the mahogany desk in my study and threw it across the room, trying to diffuse my anger. I ripped up sofas and broke vases to control my anger, but nothing helped.
As I approached the shelf, I caught a glimpse of a smiling young woman and was able to take another deep breath. I took a picture of my mother, broke the frame, and folded the paper photo tightly with both hands.
No matter how many times I see this picture, I always wished I could have saved her then.
"Now Damon, you shouldn't have another girl's innocent blood on your hands this time. You can save it," repeated May's words in her head, this time. Ran out of the house in a hurry to save.
Upon arriving at the base, meeting some of her father's sons, he was informed that he was already in a dark room with the girl being sent back. I grabbed one of them by the collar.
"What the hell did you just say? Why is she in the dark room?" I yelled at him in a voice that sounded completely imperative.
"We just did what you said, Alpha." Alpha, I turned to the boy before he could finish his words. You knew how much I despised it. Damn, I gave them the wrong instructions out of anger. She just wanted Soleil to feel threatened when she heard the word "elimination". It shouldn't escalate to that point.
Without a second thought, I pushed open the door of the dark room.
I could see her father crouching in front of Soleil, her legs spread wide, her dress falling down and her fainting. Her belt was off and her pants were hanging down to her knees.
"What are you doing here, Daemon?" he asked, an aura of anger emanating from his body.
"Why are you disturbing my time?" he cried.
"At that moment?" I asked, feeling my nails sharpen.
In that moment, I knew the complete transformation I had been avoiding was about to happen. I quickly approached him, picked him up from Soleil's unconscious body, and threw him into the corner of the room. I expected nothing but strength from an alpha like him, so I wasn't surprised when he stood up and was semi-transformed almost instantly.
His eyes turned bright yellow, his nails grew, and his teeth bared.
I snapped.
His shirt was ripped from his body, turning him into a monster you couldn't see in a mirror. There was a flash of terror in his father's eyes, but he quickly covered it up.
I stood up and saw my father on all fours.
The howl was met by a growl as he ran toward me, ready to fight. I reached out to him before he was by my side, tugging his head and tucking it under his armpit, holding his hands and feet. He showed me the animal's teeth and struggled to get the head out of the warehouse I kept.
Seeing him gasping, I dropped him to the ground and tied him up before he could do anything. "I'm glad today wasn't the anniversary of your death. I would have killed you if I wanted to, but no, your blood isn't worth it," I spit in his face, his weak growl. I heard
He transformed once more before picking up Soleil.
"Soleil," I touched her neck and realized she was barely breathing. Her body was limp and she was already cold to the touch. I hurried out of the room and ran to the infirmary with her bridal look in my hand.
"Call the doctor," I shouted to one of the nurses. I went into one of the empty hospital rooms and gently laid her down on the bed.
I removed some of her hair from her face and growled angrily at the blood in her hair and the bruises on her face.
"I'd like to check on her, so could you step back, Damon?"
I turned to him and growled at him. He swallowed hard and then used the other side to check her.
"She's human," he said, looking at me in amazement.
"Known facts and…" I waited for him to say something else.
"There is no way for her to survive, her wounds are too great for a human to endure. If she were like us, I am sure the healing process would be faster, but I will save her." I don't think you can, Damon." "You'll do everything in your power to save her, or Sean, "Break your bones one by one, cut off your neck, take a really long vacation and hurry up." I'll send you to my graveyard,' I threatened before angrily leaving the room. I sat on one of the long benches and waited several hours for the doctors and nurses to finish their work.
"Put it on," someone threw a shirt and pants at me. Turning around, it was Tunde.
"You were naked the whole time. I don't think everyone would agree with that," he said.
"Thank you," I muttered before getting dressed in the hallway. "You hit Alpha and chained him up, Daemon," he began, and I interrupted him before he could continue.
"The one who tried to torture the unconscious girl. I was just manipulating a monster," I replied.
"But you shouldn't have done that. You caused more trouble in the Elders."
"You can let me fuck you"
"Why did you send her back?" I turned to him in disbelief. "It has nothing to do with you"
"This girl has been through enough that she never had to go through the troubles of your father again."
"Shut up, enough said," I barked.
"She should have thought about her own stupid temper before she stupidly kicked her out."
"Like I said, Zarde, it doesn't matter to you. She means nothing to me, and I'll do anything to someone who means nothing to me." Zarde can't believe it. Looked at me with that look.
"Someday you will regret saying that." "No, I won't," I retorted.
After waiting a few more hours, the doctor finally came out. "We tried our best, but she ended up in a coma," he said.
"When will she wake up?" asked Zalde.
"She doesn't know yet, but I hope she wakes up in three days," the doctor asked.
"Put her in her crib. I want her to stay there until she wakes up. Sean, do it now," I said, turning to the doctor.
"Tonight?" Sean asked. "Don't piss me off, Sean," I threatened.
"It's always the same," I glared at Zarde.
"I'll do that, Damon," Sean replied, ignoring Zalde's comment and walking away.
"I thought you didn't care. Why would you want her to take you to her house if you don't care about her?" She will be fine in the hospital and I promise to take care of her. "
"I swear to God, Zalde, one more foolish word from you. You will never be able to use your mouth for anything else."
