"Excuse me," Regan said, unsure of what he had just heard. Why would he divide the empire into two different territories?
"See, Lyon, you know it won't be easy for a kingdom to go to war with an empire. If I may help you gather more allies and assist you in becoming the emperor, you need to separate the empire. That's all I want, Lyon."
"Why would you want me to give you half of the empire when you can ask for something else?" Regan asked.
"I don't think I want anything else other than that, Lyon," the king said.
Regan sighed. He never thought the king would ask for something like that. What was he expecting, though?
"I have a meeting to attend. Think about what I told you carefully," the king concluded and walked away, leaving Regan to be standing there alone.
"Your Highness, as your personal advisor, I don't think it's a good idea for you to separate the empire," Darius, who had been listening to their conversation, said.
