Twelve nights have passed since Regan left and there was still no sign of him coming back. Everyday that went by, I grew more worried, my heart was always pounding in my chest, and I knew I was getting thinner and sick from the anxiety that was eating me whole. I couldn't bring myself to even eat anything. How could I eat in a situation like this?
Samantha approached me with a worried frown on her face. "My lady, you still haven't eaten?" She said in disappointment, staring at the breakfast on the table. "Please, eat something, you haven't been eating anything lately," she pointed out.
"I'm fine," I breathed, and she gave me a skeptical look before walking away.
Maybe I should eat something before Regan comes back and have to go through my corpse first. I took the roasted potato and was about to put it in my mouth when the door suddenly burst open, Raven ran in.
Samantha stood up and walked to him. "What's the problem?" She asked.
