They rode across the bridge that led to the large metal gate of the city, with a guard on each side.
"We're here," Darius signaled, jumping down from his horse and approaching the guards. They spoke a few words, and soon the gate began to open, allowing them to enter.
They rode into the city, and after a few minutes, they approached the storehouse where some armed men blocked their way.
"Drop your weapons before entering the castle," one of the men commanded.
"Your Highness," Darius called, seeking Regan's opinion.
"We'll do as they say," Regan replied, dropping his weapons without hesitation. His men followed suit, surrendering their weapons before they were allowed to proceed.
"Prince Regan has arrived, Your Grace," a guard informed the queen, before opening the door to the meeting room.
"Lyon..." Regan's eyes traveled around to where the voice came from, and a faint smile graced his lips upon seeing the queen.
