A few days later, [August 14, 2019]. The ANM captains was in their office with Kyle and his servants. Going over missions they have coming up.
"Do you know how many tunnels there are in New York?" Urie said in an irritated tone .
"No I don't and I don't want to take the risk of getting caught in the train station. If we can't think of anything, we'll get back to that." Gabriel said as he was also starting to get irritated.
"Going underground is the best option. The moment the HPA notices our markings, they'll call the CICA so using the tunnels to travel would be the best." Christian said as looked at her maps.
"The CICA got eyes all over New York so moving below ground is the absolute best. Especially if we're moving with their main targets." Ralfie said, referring to Kyle and his servants.
"I heard they were also using motorcycles to have a wider vision on the streets. I don't mind riding one myself, you know." Michael said as he looked at Urie's map.
"Forget it there's more votes on the tunnels. We need to find and learn every tunnel we can take to and from New York. We'll turn it into our own street and if the CICA follows us down there, it'll be their problem." Gabriel said as he gestured for her to pass the table to him.
"Are you following, Kyle?" Ralfie asked as she showed him the digital map of all the underground tunnels in New York.
"Yeah I am." Kyle said as he looked at the map, Drey and Melissa sat besides him also looking at the map.
Kyle didn't have his white highlights anymore, instead it was back to how it was back to its regular color just a few inches longer than it was before. His eyes were back to brown but his fangs were still sharp. Neither of them knows why he went through-
"Congratulations…." Queen Aria's voice suddenly appeared in his head. "Although I must admit, I have never thought how this stage of the vampire process would go with a human…." She went quiet.
*BANG!* Ralfie suddenly slammed the mug on the table which made her screen disappear as it shocked him.
"Did you hear what we said?" Gabriel said in a slightly irritated tone.
"About what?" Kyle asked as he tried to get the screen to come back.
"We're using the ICTA train lines to get into the lines that are shut down. We might have to go through territories that belong to bigger organizations so we may have to stack up on more jobs that are much more terrible than the one with Ryoa. It won't be as simple as that anymore." Gabriel said as Ralfie showed Kyle a different tunnel system.
The tunnel system was so close to ICTA lines but it was just black and it went all over New York even beneath the rivers. Underneath all of the boroughs like a web.
They went over the next few weeks as they had a few tasks lined up for 2 hours, then they held a meeting with the rest of the ANM members in their base which was beneath the office.
"We aren't fighting with the police anymore since we caught the attention of the CICA, our task will become much more riskier." Gabriel paused.
"That doesn't matter though. We have caught the attention of a stronger authority, so we won't resort to thuggish shootouts any more. We will act and attack like an organization should. So the next few tasks will be much more riskier, your very lives will be on the line. However the mission is the same which is why these missions are strictly to build relationships and expand the ANM's territory. The next few days will determine that." Gabriel paused again.
"Thanks to the mission the captains and our special rookies completed with Ryoa, we have enough of everything to make deals whether they go wrong or not, we'll come out on top. As we always will, some of us may die but as long as there are other members alive. Those who die can rest peacefully knowing the ANM will complete our goal without fail. There is always time to mourn after the task is completed. We are family to every single one of us, this does not mean every man for them, we will protect each other to complete the task. We cannot let them get our special rookies." Gabriel stopped as he looked at all of the members.
Gabriel was not wrong, they were going to go through much riskier missions and they were ready to go against the CICA. However the CICA was also determined and only time could tell how sharp they are.
A few hours later when the ANM finished meeting to prepare for the tasks, Kyle was with his servants for the whole of the two days. The rest of the members stood to themselves to prepare for the tasks coming up.
"Did you two regain any of your memories yet?" Kyle asked as he laid on the couch staring at the ceiling.
"I can remeber almost everything I learned in medical school but that's all I can remember." Melissa said as she sat on a chair across from them.
"I remebered almost everything I learned and discovered but like Melissa, I can't remeber any of my family or friends or any personal experiences in my life." Drey said as he put three cups of blood on the table. "However I also know the equivalent of that knowledge on Vampires and their world." He finished.
"Yeah, my memories start right after I was turned as well but I know as much of the Vampire body as I do the human body." Melissa said as she grabbed a cup.
"With this we can assume that means we can actually regain our memories if you become a full vampire. If you actually want to become one." Drey said after he sat down on a chair next to Melissa.
"...I do." Kyle said as he grabbed one of the cups.
"My lord, we know you are still concerned. Do you think the Queen is lying?" Drey asked.
"No, I don't think she would lie to us… I'm just not sure how we're going to find other ways for us to get blood without involving humans." Kyle said as he put the cup down. "I don't want to keep on killing people." he said as he stared at the blood. The faces of all of the innocent people that he killed, he remembers every single one of them, even when Queen Aria took over his body.
"Pardon me, it's so easy to get lost in thought. You can get all of that but what will you do with it?" Queen Aria's voice finally reappeared in his head.
"What do you mean, is there a place like that?" Kyle asked as if he almost forgot Drey and Melissa were sitting across from them.
"Yes there is a place like that, it's called Blutheim. Blood flows a river in the Kingdom, no need to take any life. You must first become a Vampire to reach that place though." Queen Aria said.
"You said you weren't gonna tell me about that place. Are you lying to me?" Kyle asked in a skeptical tone.
"I am not, become a Vampire and you will be welcomed into Blutheim. I must go now." Queen Aria said.
"Why?" Kyle said but he was too late as she disappeared again.
"…" Drey and Melissa were waiting for him as they drank the blood from their cups. To them he looked like he was talking to himself.
"…Okay, okay…. Okay." Kyle said as he tried to contain his excitement. "Okay… I don't have any worries. Since Blutheim has what I want then I have no other choice but to go there." Kyle told them as he grabbed his cup again.
"We're your servants my lord, wherever you go, we go as well." Drey said as he already knew what was going through Kyle's mind.
"I won't force you to come with me. When I leave." Kyle said.
Kyle is now completely set on finding Blutheim, even if he has to do it by himself. He is ready to become a Vampire and take on whatever he has to, he finally found a goal so he could push himself with absolute certainty.
There is only 40 hours left, Kyle and his servants are completely ready for whatever the next tasks had in store.
*Ring Ring.*
"Hello?" Mother answered the phone once she heard it start ringing.
"Hey mom, how have you been?" Christian asked in a genuine and soft tone.
"I've been good. Are you okay, how is that project going?" Mother asked, concerned because it was the first time she heard his voice like that.
"Yes, I'm fine. How's dad?" Christian asked, you could hear the small smirk on his face through his voice.
"He's fine,he just left for work." Mother said as Henry's car left the driveway.
"Really? He has night shifts now?" Christian asked in a slightly surprised tone.
"Yeah, the CICA needed more eyes on the streets. Since they were suspicious of the Vampires being so silent." Mother explained.
"That's interesting… but I'm glad to hear that you are safe. I'm going to keep Kyle for a little longer but he'll be back before school starts up again. I'll take him shopping too so you don't have to worry about him." Christian said.
"Okay be safe and take care." Mother said not asking any questions.
"You do the same, Mom." Christian said before she hung. *Sighhh* Christian let out a deep exhale as he sat alone in his apartment, losing himself in his thoughts.
