Over this week, they beat each member until they were covered in blood, until their first were covered in blood and their knuckles were broken. Kyle was exempt from seeing this part of the task, his brother did not allow him to see the end of the conversion. But every member of the Solom organization was converted into the ANM successfully. Meaning their 2nd completed.
400 out of 1000 members were able to convert as the rest died during the process. Those 600 members turned into blood for Kyle and his servants.
[Just a few days after the Conversion. August 28th, 2019]
"The only captains that are able to do this task are me, Ralfie, Jeremy, or Michael because the other Captains fractured their hands." David explained as put a few papers in a pile.
" And since some of our agents are also out of commission, the vampires will join the mission along with two lieutenants." David explained as all of the captains were in the office with Kyle and his servants as well.
"I'll go this time." Jeremy said as he sat up.
"Alright. You'll be meeting up with the Royale organization that owns a huge part of Queens but be careful of your surroundings. Queens are highly hostile grounds where every territory is trying to kill each other." David said as he passed him some of the papers. "So that means the odds of you running into the CICA are more probable." He finished
"We also need to start worrying about the Solom organization's connections." Urie said as she took a few papers from the pile.
As the ANM readied for their next task, the CICA are watching over the streets like birds in the sky. They everywhere the sun shines even at night so the movements of the ANM have gone unnoticed.
"-Sneaking around. Hundreds of people have gone missing in just four days, it's almost like a nightmare." S201 said as he was in a parking garage with his other squad members.
"It almost feels like we can't do anything against them." S221 said as she leaned on her motorcycle.
"People are starting to doubt us, we need to change our method. It's too obvious, too protective. We're stretching our sights thin." S206 said as he looked at the floor.
"Don't fear the vampires, it's because of the ANM they are able to do this. Just one small mistake." D124 said as he kept watch of a radar.
"There's 16 other squads besides our roaming around New York, whatever came before us will meet them." S200 said as she paced, restlessly.
"Right. Let's continue searching." D124 said as he put the radar away and got on his motorcycle. "Our next spot is Queens." He said as he turned on his motorcycle.
About an hour later D124's squad had already spent 30 minutes in Queens while the ANM had only just made it to the borough. The ANM has been using unmarked SUVs to get through some of the streets. It was no different this time.
"I'm going to leave you in the car, I need you to have it ready just in case the deal gets interrupted." Jeremy said as he checked the gas.
"Okay." His lieutenant said as he looked at the gps on the center console. "What part of Queens do they own?" He asked as he couldn't see past the headlights in the tunnels.
"Everything in between Jackson Heights and Woodhaven." Jeremy said as they reached a fork in the tunnels. "We're meeting them in Elmhurst." Jeremy said as he saw a bright light peeking through the end of the tunnel.
The tunnel ended in Sunnyside, it took them about 30 minutes to reach Elmhurst. The place where they were meeting the Royale organization was a restaurant named "Lucky Weng's Garden". It was a mid-end restaurant with large panels of windows going all over the second floor of the building.
"Of course the deal could get interrupted in a place like this." His lieutenant said as he looked at the restaurant.
"You might be right. Anything can happen here." Jeremy said as he made a phone call.
…
"Alright. Let's go inside, they're already inside waiting for us." Jeremy said as he opened the door and put glasses on.
Each of them were wearing black suits and glasses over their gear but that wasn't enough for Drey and Melissa so they also had black wigs on. As well as a little bit of makeup to hide their clear faces with the glasses.
They stepped out of the car and walked into the restaurant, the lieutenant across the street in the cars.
"Holy shit." Kyle said as they walked into the restaurant and was met by this hunger-inducing aroma, something he hasn't felt in months ever since he started drinking blood.
There was a small reception area covered in quartz from the ceiling to the floor with small black and red streaks going in patterns. The receptionist was sitting on a chair next to the stairs made of the same material.
She sat with a thin book that held the names of those who reserved seats upstairs.
The receptionist had a thin suit with roses embroidered in rhodium doing spirals all over her as if it was dancing to a soothing melody.
"Good evening, unfortunately we are only doing reservations today so if you don't have any reservations then we can not seat you." The receptionist said as she stood up from the chair and pointed to a sign.
Which was labeled "Reservations only".
"We have a reservation." Jeremy said as he showed her a picture on his phone.
"I see, well then your party members are upstairs waiting. I hope you have a great time and enjoy your meal." The receptionist said as she moved her hand towards the stairs signaling for them to go up.
"I hope we do too." Jeremy said as he walked upstairs with Kyle and his servants following behind him.
Kyle and his servants didn't realize, the receptionist slight jumped in shock leaving her almost paralyzed with this odd sensation once she laid eyes on them.
As they walked up the stairs, the illumination slowly changed from a bright white to a dimmed, gentle light that shone all over the dining area almost almost as if it was morphed half way.
Upon entering the dining area it was like Kyle had entered a dome made out of the aroma that emanated from the food behind the two doors to the right of the stairs. Behind the door was undoubtedly the kitchen as a waiter came out with two trays of food.
"You hungry?" Jeremy asked as he looked Kyle, who was staring at the food as if his eyes were attracted to it like magnets.
"I'm not sure." Kyle said as he his eyes snapped away from the food.
"Who are they?"
"Who?" Kyle asked.
"What?" Jeremy asked confusingly as he looked around the restaurant for the Royale members.
"That wasn't him, my lord. That voice came from someone in the restaurant." Drey said as he put his hand on Kyle's shoulder.
"It was probably the Royale that you heard…. I see them, come." Jeremy said as he started walking towards their table. "Keep in mind, these people aren't our enemies." He finished.
The dining area fitted around 25 tables. Half of them were meant to sit 8 people while the others were meant to sit 4 of them. Every other table was taken and for some reason Kyle and his servants felt as if there were eyes all on them. Like they were walking through a cave of rats.
Jeremy suddenly stopped which also made them stop. Following his lead completely.
"You must be the 6th captain. It's a pleasure to meet you, I am the Jack of the Royale Org. I go by Jack." Jack said as he stood up from his chair and shook Jeremy's hand.
"The pleasure is all mine, yes I am the 6th captain but you can call me. Six." Jeremy said as he pointed to his glasses which had ANM engraved into the frames.
"Of course, please take a seat…." Jack paused for a moment as he saw Kyle standing beside him. "And this must be the infamous one, unless you'd actually bring a child here?" He asked as he held his hand up to Kyle.
"Yes, hopefully this isn't a problem." Jeremy said as he sat down.
"Not at all, this is actually great. However I would assume that-"
"Their meeting with the Royale people, who the hell are they?" The voice cut them off as if they were directly in Kyle's ear.
"K." Jeremy said as he nudged Kyle because he suddenly turned away from them. "Would you like to try anything on the menu?" He asked.
"Sure." Kyle said as turned back to them.
"Really, well that's great because I'm starving." Jack said before he signaled for a waiter to come over.
"Thank goodness, I was hoping to get a meal here before we left. You know some people don't eat during these." Jeremy said happily.
"I know! It's so weird like why choose a restaurant in the first place." Jack said in an exasperated tone before the waiter got to the table.
The waiter left a menu for all of them, before walking away to give them time to choose their order.
"But I guess some people can't trust whoever their meeting for some reason." Jeremy said as he read the menu.
"I agree. But you don't have to worry, this is neutral grounds for every organization. Those who break that rule will be hunted by every organization in Queens respectively." Jack said as he read the menu as well.
"It might be bad to let them leave. Who the hell are those people?"
