Elena slowly opened her eyes, still groggy from the deep sleep she had fallen into. She heard the distant sound of howling, which seemed to be getting closer and closer. Suddenly, she was startled by Serena's urgent voice, "Quick, girl, they are almost here, get up and cover yourself!"
Elena looked down at herself and was horrified to see that she was naked and covered in mud, twigs, and dried leaves. She frantically searched for something to cover herself, eventually she hastily gathered some branches to shield herself from the two men who had arrived.
As she stood there, shivering and ashamed, two men approached. They were the border guards, tasked with keeping track of who came and went across pack territories. Elena felt a wave of panic wash over her, realising she had crossed the border into another pack's territory.
The border guards, stood before her, their expressions stern as they demanded an explanation for Elena's presence on their territory. Elena's heart raced as she struggled to find the words to explain her situation. She had never shifted before, and her wolf had taken over, leading her across the border to another pack without her conscious knowledge.
"What are you doing here?" One of them asked
"I...I... I am sorry..." Elena was trembling and stuttering, trying to come up with an explanation for why she was on the wrong side of the border. Her mind was a jumbled mess as she tried to find the right words, but the branches she was holding to cover herself were scratching her skin and making it hard to concentrate. She felt so embarrassed and vulnerable in front of the two border guards, knowing that she had made a grave mistake.
Just then, Jack and Nick emerged from the forest, calling out her name and approaching the group. Elena's heart lifted with relief, and she clung tighter to the branches to hide her nakedness. The two men quickly assessed the situation and took charge, using their confident and authoritative tones to defuse the tension with the guards.
"It's alright, boys, she's with us," Jack said calmly, his voice carrying weight and authority. "She's new to the pack, and it's her first shift. She must have gotten lost and ended up crossing the border."
Nick nodded in agreement, his expression serious but reassuring. "We'll make sure she won't make the same mistake again. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."
"I don't know... She entered our territory, she should be taken to see our Alpha..." one of the guards said while eyeing them suspiciously.
"Look I am the Blue Moon's future Alpha and here next to me is Nick the future Alpha of the Blood Crescent Pack. I really don't think we need another Alpha involved to resolve this situation... Besides, she is not a Rouge or anything, just an Omega that got carried away on her first shift. Do you really want to blow this out of proportion and waste everyones time?" Jack spoke with confidence.
The guards relented, allowing the group to pass through and re-enter their territory. Elena let out a sigh of relief and gratitude, feeling grateful for her pack-mates' intervention.
Nick noticed the branches she was using to cover herself and quickly took off his shirt to give her something more appropriate to wear.
"Come on, let's get you back to the pack house," Nick said gently, draping his jacket over her shoulders. "We can talk about what happened there and figure out what to do next."
Elena nodded, grateful for the cover and their kindness. As they walked back, she tried to piece together what had happened. She had shifted for the first time and had no idea where she was going. She must have crossed over into another pack's territory without even realising it.
"I'm sorry," she said softly, tears welling up in her eyes. "I didn't mean to cause any trouble."
"It's okay," Jack said reassuringly. "You're new to this. We all make mistakes. The important thing is that you're safe and back with us now."
Elena's mind was in a state of confusion and turmoil as she walked with Jack and Nick back into their pack's territory. She started to remember the events from last night. She couldn't believe that she had been lied to her whole life. The revelation that she wasn't an omega, but something else entirely, had shattered her world. She had always felt like something was off, like she didn't quite fit in with the other omegas in her pack. But now it all made sense. She was something else, but what exactly? The question burned in her mind, and she felt lost and alone.
As they walked, Elena's thoughts raced. Who had lied to her? Why had they kept the truth from her? What was the truth about her identity? The pain and betrayal she felt were intense, and she struggled to keep her emotions in check. She didn't want to break down in front of Jack and Nick, but it was getting harder to hold back the tears.
As they approached the pack's border, Elena's heart was heavy with uncertainty. She didn't know what the future held for her, and the fear of the unknown was overwhelming. She had so many questions and no answers. She felt like a stranger in her own skin, and the thought of not knowing who she really was scared her more than anything else.
Once they reached the pack's territory, Jack and Nick noticed that Elena was upset and asked her what was wrong. Elena hesitated, unsure if she was ready to share her secret. But the pain and confusion were too much to bear alone. She took a deep breath and told them everything. Jack and Nick listened attentively, and when she was finished, both of the men were in shock and promised to help her.

Once they got to the pack house they told Sarah about Elena's situation. The group was sitting in the garden and discussing it further.
Elena sighed deeply, feeling lost and overwhelmed by the weight of the situation. "I don't know what to do," she said, looking at her friends. "I feel like I've been living a lie my whole life. I don't even know who I am anymore."
Jack put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "We'll figure it out. We'll find out the truth and help you in any way we can. I was thinking that we should tell everything to my father, he might be able to help."
Nick was less optimistic. "But what if Jack's father doesn't help us? What if he just sends us back to our pack?"
Sarah spoke up. "Maybe we should go to the local witch. She might have some answers for us. It's worth a try, right?"
Elena looked at her in surprise. "A witch? Do you really think that's a good idea?"
Sarah nodded. "My grandmother used to go to her for advice all the time. She's wise and powerful, and she might be able to help us."
Jack and Nick looked at each other, then back at Elena. "It's worth a shot," Jack said. "We'll go see the witch tomorrow."
Elena nodded, feeling a glimmer of hope. Maybe they could find the answers she was looking for and finally discover who she really was.
Even though the group decided to visit the which, Jack felt that his father would be a better help. So he decided to take the matters in to his own hands.
Jack sat nervously in front of his father's desk, trying to find the right words to explain the situation. "Dad, I need to talk to you about something really important," he started. "It's about Elena. I found out she's not an omega, she's something else entirely."
The Old Alpha raised an eyebrow in surprise. "What do you mean, something else entirely?"
"She's not an omega, dad. She's an Alpha," Jack said.
The Old Alpha leaned back in his chair, deep in thought. "I see," he said after a moment. "And what do you propose we do about this?"
"I don't know," Jack admitted. "I thought maybe we could help her find out who she really is."
The Old Alpha stroked his beard thoughtfully. "I have a better idea," he said finally. "Jake, you should mate with Elena."
Jack's eyes widened in shock. "What? Dad, that's crazy! We barely even know her."
"But she has great power, Jack. I can feel it," the Old Alpha insisted. "She would make a strong and powerful Luna for our pack. We need her."
Jack realised the mistake he made of involving his father. He knew that disagreeing with the old man is pointless, so he decided to act as if he agrees with him.
He spoke up. "But dad, what about Nick's pack? They might try to take her back if they find out."
The Old Alpha waved a dismissive hand. "We'll deal with Nick's pack if and when the time comes. Right now, we need to focus on making Elena our Luna."
"Father, I just...I don't want to do anything to hurt her."
The Old Alpha gave a stern look. "We're not going to hurt her, Jack. We're going to help her. Trust me."
As soon as Jack left his fathers office he went straight to Elena and Nick that were in Elena's room.
Jack's news left both Nick and Eleanor in shock. "What? That's crazy!" exclaimed Nick, while Eleanor remained silent, processing the news.
"I know," replied Jack. "But my father is set on this. I don't know what to do."
"We can't stay here," said Eleanor finally. "If this is what he's planning, we have to leave. right now."
Nick nodded in agreement. "I agree. We can't risk it."
"But where will we go?" asked Jack.
"I have a friend in a neighbouring pack," said Nick. "We can go there. It's not too far away."
Eleanor spoke up. "I don't want to put you in danger, Jack. You don't have to come with us."
Jack shook his head. "I'm not leaving you guys alone. I'll come with you, and then I'll find a way to sort things out with my father."
The group quickly gathered their things and left the pack house, in Jacks car.
On their way to leave the pack, Jack, Nick, and Elena decided to stop at the witch's house, since Sarah had given them the address. The house was located in the outskirts of the town and was surrounded by a dense forest. As they approached the house, they could see that it was a small cottage with a thatched roof and a chimney that was smoking.
As they knocked on the door, a voice from inside called out, "Who is it?"
"It's us, Sarah's friends," Nick replied.
The door creaked open, revealing an old woman with a crooked nose and a hunched back. She had long, white hair and wore a black cloak. Her eyes were piercing, and they seemed to look right through them.
"What do you want?" she asked, her voice raspy.
"We need your help," Elena said, stepping forward. "We need to know who I am and what my true identity is."
The old woman looked at her for a moment, then nodded. "Come in," she said, stepping aside to let them in.
The inside of the house was dimly lit and filled with a pungent odour of herbs and incense. The walls were lined with shelves full of potions and herbs, and there were various strange objects scattered around the room. The old woman gestured for them to sit on the rickety chairs that were placed around a small table in the centre of the room.
The group sat nervously in the small and dimly lit room of the witch's cottage, their eyes fixed on the old woman who sat across from them, her wrinkled face framed by a mass of wild gray hair. Eleanor felt a mixture of fear and hope rise within her as the witch began to speak.
"I have been expecting you," the witch said in a low and gravelly voice. "Eleanor, your dreams hold the key to your past. They are trying to tell you something, and you must pay attention to them if you want to uncover the truth about who you really are."
Eleanor's eyes widened in surprise.
"Is there anything else you want to know?" she asked, looking directly at Elena.
"I want to know who I am and what my true identity is," Elena repeated.
The old woman nodded. "I see," she said, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. "You are not who you think you are. You are a descendant of a powerful witch. Both of your parents come from a long line of very strong Alphas. You have inherited both their powers and are destined for greatness."
Elena gasped, and Nick and Jack looked at her in shock.
"But what does that mean?" Elena asked, still trying to process the information.
"It means that you have a great destiny ahead of you," the old woman replied. "But it also means that you will face many challenges and dangers. You must be careful and trust your instincts."The witch continued, "But right now, there is danger surrounding you. You must go somewhere safe and discover your skills and abilities so that you can be the one using them, rather than becoming a puppet of someone else."
"Where should I go?" Eleanor asked, her voice trembling slightly.
"There is a small pack up in the mountains," the witch replied. "The current Alpha there is old and doesn't have any children left, but he is a good Alpha and would probably take you in and help you. It is a safe place for you to discover yourself and your true potential."
Eleanor felt a sense of relief wash over her. Finally, there was a way for her to uncover the truth about her past and to be safe while doing so.
The group thanked the old woman for her help and left her house with a newfound sense of purpose. Elena was now aware of her true identity and felt a sense of power and responsibility.
Elena couldn't help but feel grateful to Sarah for giving them the address to the witch's cottage. She had never believed in witches or magic before, but now she knew that there was more to the world than what she had been taught.
As they left the witch's house, the group was in a deep discussion about their next move. They had a plan to leave the pack and find a safer place for Elena to discover her past. The witch had suggested a small pack up in the mountains, where they could find refuge and protection. After a long discussion, they decided that Nick and Elena would go to that pack, while Jack would go back to his pack to stop his father's plan.
"I'll go with Elena to make sure she's safe," Nick said.
"And I'll go back to my pack to try to stop my father," Jack added, determined to protect Elena at all costs.
Elena was grateful for her friends' support and nodded in agreement. "Thank you, both of you," she said softly.
The three of them then took a blood oath to stay connected through a mind link, no matter where they were or how far apart they were. The oath would bind them together, and they would be able to communicate with each other through their thoughts.
Nick and Elena got into Jack's car, and Jack handed them the keys. "Take good care of it," Jack said, giving them a small smile.
As they drove away, Jack watched them go, feeling a mix of emotions. He was worried about Elena's safety and angry at his father's actions.
Jack then started walking back to his pack, his mind focused on what he needed to do to protect Elena.
