Chapter 18 - Chapter 18

Its been several months since Elena arrived to Robin's pack. She was finally feeling right at home with the pack members. She became a real asset to the small elderly community of wolfs here. She was smart and helpful and always ready to lend a hand. She was just called to Robin's office and when she arrived there she saw the which sitting there with Robin waiting for her.

As Elena walked towards Robin's office, she felt a knot form in her stomach. It wasn't often that she was called to his office, and the presence of the witch only added to her unease. She knocked on the wooden door and waited for Robin to call her in.

"Come in, Elena," Robin's deep voice boomed from the other side of the door.

Elena took a deep breath and opened the door, stepping into the small room. Robin was sitting behind his wooden desk, and the witch was seated across from him.

"Hello, Elena," the witch greeted her with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "How have you been settling in?"

"I've been doing well, thank you," Elena replied, trying to keep her voice steady.

"That's good to hear," the witch said, nodding her head.

"Sit down, Elena," Robin said, gesturing to a chair across from him. "The witch has some news for you."

Elena sat down, trying to hide her nervousness as she looked at the witch. The witch's eyes seemed to be studying her, and Elena couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable under her gaze.

"I have some news about your family, Elena," the witch said, her voice soft but serious.

"We think you have been adopted, by the people you know as your parents."

Elena's heart sank as she heard the news. She had always feared that something like this might happen, but it still came as a shock to hear it confirmed. She felt a wave of sadness and fear wash over her, and she struggled to keep her emotions under control.

"So... Do you know anything about my birth parents?" Elena asked after a moment of silence.

The which looked at Robin with a knowing look "At the moment we don't know anything for definite, but your abilities, specially the one of healing its narrowing possibilities of where you might be from." the witch continued " I would like to work with you to help you discover your full potential and hopefully with that you will also find out who you truly are"

The witch's words sent a chill down Elena's spine. She had never known anything about her past or where she came from, but the witch's words made her feel like there might be a chance for her to find out. She looked at Robin, who nodded in agreement with the witch's proposal.

"I'm willing to work with you," Elena said, her voice shaking slightly. "I want to know who I am and where I come from."

The witch smiled at Elena, and for the first time, Elena felt a sense of comfort in the witch's presence. They spent the next few hours discussing possible ways to discover Elena's past and her true potential.

Over the next few weeks, the witch worked closely with Elena to help her explore her abilities. Elena discovered that not only could she heal others, but she could also control and manipulate water. She was amazed at the power she possessed and felt grateful to the witch for helping her discover her true potential.

Elena and the witch spent hours poring over dream journals, trying to make sense of the strange and often cryptic images that Elena saw in her sleep. It was a frustrating process for Elena, who struggled to articulate the details of her dreams.

"I don't understand what it all means," Elena said, frustration evident in her voice.

The witch smiled reassuringly. "That's okay, my dear. Dreams are often symbolic and difficult to interpret. But we'll get there eventually."

Over the course of several weeks, the witch and Elena delved deeper into the meaning behind Elena's dreams. They discovered that many of the images were related to Elena's past, memories that she had long suppressed.

Elena was surprised by what she learned. "I had no idea that these things were buried so deep inside me," she said.

The witch nodded. "It's common for people to push painful memories aside in order to cope. But it's important to confront them, in order to heal."

As Elena worked through her dreams, she began to gain a greater understanding of herself. She discovered that she had a gift for healing, not just physically but emotionally as well. And she began to realise that her place in the pack wasn't just a matter of circumstance – she was meant to be there, to help and support her fellow wolves.

"I feel like I've finally found my purpose," Elena said, smiling.

The witch nodded approvingly. "I'm glad that I could help you on your journey. But remember, there is still much to learn. Your potential is limitless, Elena."

Elena found herself standing in a dense forest, surrounded by towering trees with leaves that rustled in the gentle breeze. She looked down and realised she was small again, just a child. She wore a simple white dress and her hair was braided into two long pigtails that hung down her back.

As she looked around, she saw her parents and brother standing a few feet away from her. They looked happy and carefree, and Elena felt a warm sense of love and belonging wash over her. It was as if time had rewound and she was back in a moment of pure innocence.

Her father, a tall, handsome man with a kind smile, knelt down and opened his arms wide. Elena ran to him and he scooped her up, lifting her high into the air. She laughed and hugged him tightly, feeling safe and protected.

Her mother, a beautiful woman with long dark hair, smiled at them and walked over to join in the embrace. Elena's brother, Sam, stood to the side, watching them with a smile on his face. He was a few years older than Elena, but they were always close.

Suddenly, there was a loud roar, and the ground shook beneath their feet. Elena's father put her down and turned to face the direction of the noise.

Suddenly Elena found herself in a different place, the clearing where her family's pack used to gather for celebrations. She looked around and saw her parents, her brother Sam, and the other members of the pack. They were all happy and laughing, and Elena felt a sense of warmth and belonging.

But suddenly, the scene changed, and the clearing was filled with chaos and destruction. Elena saw her father fighting off attackers, but she couldn't see who they were. She heard her mother's screams. Sam ran over to their father's side, tears streaming down his face. Elena tried to go to him, but something grabbed her from behind and pulled her away. She struggled and screamed, but she couldn't break free.

As the scene faded away, Elena realised she was back in the witch's hut, sitting on a small wooden stool. The witch was beside her, holding her hand and looking at her with concern.

"That was a difficult dream," the witch said softly. "But it's important that you remember. Do you know why?"

Elena took a deep breath and nodded. "It's because I need to face what happened. I need to understand it, so I can move on."

The witch nodded. "That's right. You have a lot of power within you, Elena. But until you can face your past, you'll never be able to harness that power fully. Together, we'll work to help you heal and grow stronger."

As days turned in to months Elena was able to remember that she has a brother Samuel that might be alive. Elena decided that it is time for her to leave Robins pack and all the safety and comfort that it had on offer, as she has finally felt ready to face her future and her destiny.
