Karl's body broke and reconstructed. A black substance was forced out of his body.
His skin became very pale and flawless. His body became more toned. The silver hair shone slightly and became longer.
The golden lotus dimmed slightly and became dormant.
His eyelids shook. Karl looked around the place curiously. He could feel a vast a mount of energy flowing in just body.
'What the fuck how is it even possible. I remember falling asleep and then here...'

He was shocked to see a black substance on his body.
With a thought, he washed his body with ice magic. He was clad in casual clothes. He looked around as he analysed the place.
'What is this strange energy. Its more pure and dense.'
He spread his divine sense covering 2 kilometers. He could see clearly even if his eyes are closed. As far as he could see the Peak was surrounded by swords.
This tower appeared to be a residence. If so then....
{Well now that you are awake let's start shall we. Honestly I didn't expect you to skip a realm just like that. Jumping two levels in one go.} The Empress paused.

A golden 1.5 meter long sword appeared before him. Space vibrated. The sword gave off a powerful aura which made space twist.
{She is my sword but at my current level she can nolonger accompany me. Don't worry I promised to find her a new master but be warned. She is very powerful. She can easily wipe out a continent at your current level. Never use her recklessly. Many will eye you once her presence in known.
She is not a normal sword. She can cut through space and time. This means her power can also affect souls.}

As soon as he did so, he appeared in his mind scape. There was a golden haired woman clad in an Azure robe.
"I will teach you this sword technique once, so make sure to grasp every detail." The Empress said.
She started moving her sword gracefully with smooth moves. Her movements were fluid. She performed her sword dance calmly as a river.
It didn't take long for him to materialise his sword and followed suit.
The Empress turned her golden eyes at him as she came to an end.
He moved as he recalled her movements. This continued for 6 hours straight and a golden sword intent surfaced on his sword. He continued for 3 hours and the intent intensified.
The sword gave off a Sharp aura which made even space twist.
To say she was shocked was an understatement. She had taken thousands of years perfecting her swordship. Here he was effortlessly getting the pinnacle sword intent in just a few hours.
One had to know that a full year meant nothing to her but this was impossible.
As soon as he finished, an unbearable headache struck him and fell unconscious.
The Empress appeared and held Nemisis lovingly. She wore a veil which completely covered her face. She caressed Nemisis few times.
A drop of blood with golden tints floated before her. She raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"His path to Godhood has started at a young stage. Seems like our new friend has great potential Nemisis."
Nemisis vibrated in understanding. The sword was golden with beautiful gems at the hilt. The sword's appearance was bewitching as it invoked greed in whoever saw it.
As soon as the blood came into contact with the sword. It gave off a blinding light. A golden sword symbol at The Empress' chest shone. The same symbol appeared on Karl who was unconscious.
"Why are you doing this Nemisis. He is your new master. Its not like we are parting ways. Just so you know I withdrew from worldly matters so I thought you go and travel this world. You are always welcome."
'Leaving this symbol means she can come to me or him with a thought. What a good way of caring. You want to seek my aid. I will always be there for you.'
She closed her eyes.

Two days later.
Karl woke up. He looked around and was in a spacious bedroom. The room was very rich in divine energy. He felt a constant rise in power in this place.
He freshened up and inspected his body. There was a beautiful golden sword symbol on his chest.
He could sense two presences through the symbol.
'Is it the Empress and Nemisis. I didn't expect to see such an entity on Earth. Seems our world has great mysteries than one could imagine.'
He walked out of the room and headed for the living room on the down floor.
As he appeared, there was a golden haired woman in an Azure robe seated. She was caressing a golden sword on her lap. Her face was completely covered by a veil.
The sword's appearance was bewitching.
"I didn't expect you to be quite talented. You know it took me thousands of years to perfect my sword intent to your current level. So imagine the level of shock I experienced."
Her voice was soothing as it drew one in temptation if you didn't focus. 'Just her voice stirs one's desires, I have to be careful not to embarras myself. I didn't see her face clearly which means its bad news compared to her voice.'
She smiled inwardly. As a Goddess, she could easily see through his thoughts. It's for this reason she allowed him here in the first place.
He wasn't driven by lust which increased her impression of him.
"Honestly I don't know how I also did it, it came as a surprise. But compared to you I have a very long way to go." He sat down opposite from her.
"It's good that you know that. You can continue to train until perfection. Everything will become a weapon on your body once you reach my level."
"Can you tell me why you picked me instead of the other four?" He asked curiously.
She smiled behind her veil though no one was able to see such a rare sight.

"I have watched you even before reaching this place. So I have done so to all of you. For what I know they are some heirs of powerful families out their. If any of them were to see me or Nemisis what do you think will happen." The Empress asked looking at him.
"They will want both given they want to surpass each other in power and influence." He said.
"Yeah, that's part of it, they will stop at nothing to gain my favor. But if I refuse, those old geezers of their families will unite or something to get rid of me their 'threat' at that time." She paused.
