"As for you I can easily deduce you are not from any of those hidden families. They are no good. I don't want to be some one's subordinate."
Karl looked at this entity with respect. Seems like reaching her ranks she wasn't just being talented in cultivating only. But above all she just wanted to live in peace. But he knew she had other reasons.
'What a joke. How could she a genuine Goddess become their slave. Sigh. I will have to leave this place. If I act rashly and kill them it will attract much attention.'
"They won't give up. They have already learnt of your existence as you were not part of them. But that's not the problem. I have lived on this world for who knows how long but-" She paused and looked at him. "You must be careful. This world is strange. It has many powerhouses that roam everywhere. Though it appears to be a lower world, it can sustain strong beings."
"I will try my best but the path I walk might attract much trouble. So much has happened in my life the moment I awakened my powers." He leaned back and stared at the ceiling. He couldn't process how things were moving as he just went with the flow.
'All those I have met so far are very powerful. I doubt even at my current level I can stand a chance against them. Let's train for sometime here. I need to improve my skills.'
"I will train here for sometime. I need to adjust to my current strength."
She looked at him and nodded. With a raise of a hand, a black sword shot into the tower. It hovered around him.
"That's a Rank 4 sword. You will be using that in the meantime. If you are to be aided by Nemisis that will nolonger be training but a one-sided slaughter."
Karl reached out for the sword. The sword vibrated slightly. He could feel the great power in it.
"Are there beasts in this place, its strange but up until now I can't see any."
"Ooh that, well you will just head for the deepest parts in the forest but at your level don't go too far but if you want feel free to do so.hehe."
"I won't know until I try anyway."
"Good that's the spirit. Let's hope you don't take back your words."
Snap.
With a snap. He disappeared. She smiled. Seems like she will have to leave her peaceful life.
'How long has it been. This time was bound to happen. I will just guide him then.'
This tower was her residence. But it was not only this tower. This place was a separate dimension from Earth. She had complete control over it. Here she was a omnipotent.
Karl appeared in the sky above the forest.
{This is the zone for Transcended beasts but be warned. They are very powerful. You might lose your life. Though you won't die permanently, try to avoid that as much as possible.}
He descended.
Roar!!!
A powerful roar reverberated in the forest. He turned his gaze to the creature.
A glint ape stood proudly. It shot him a fierce gaze. It's a very territorial beast. It was immediately angered the moment it sensed an intruder.
It disappeared.
Swoosh Boom!!
Karl was blasted away like a kite. Several trees were crashed in the process. The ape stomped and followed.
Before he could stabilise, a punch came towards his chin.
Boom
Huh?
The ape looked on in confusion. It had punched his after image. In a blink of an eye, he appeared and punched. Instead of being blown away, it gripped his hand.
Karl backflipped and kicked it in the chest. The ape was pushed 50 meters back.
Before he could react, it closed in and attacked. They moved at frightening speeds with raw power. He had decided to test the limits of his body.
Trees were reduced to nothing. The ground split. Debris rose and fell. Though he was at a disadvantage, this battle was thrilling. His opponent was really powerful.
The ape had a strong defence. Its body was very tough. His hands felt numb.
The more they fought, it became even more irritated. This puny human was a threat to it.
Suddenly it tapped into its bloodline powers. It's body bulked. Its strength skyrocketed. The ape's eyes became bloodshot. It became berserk.
It's attacks became more dangerous.
He gritted his teeth and held on. He moved faster and held it tightly. He threw it from the sky head first. He followed suit and stomped on it.
Boom
Fresh blood spread on the ground.
Roar!!
Karl immediately drew out his sword and slashed. A head rolled down on the floor.
Sigh.
'That was a close one. Though we are in the same rank, it's more powerful than me. Haa..I still have much to learn. First I will fight with my body. I need to increase my defence. Let's rest first.'
He found a big tree and rested. It was a tough fight. He didn't have any use for the corpse.
After sometime, he stood up and continued his hunt. He met many beasts each not weaker than the previous one. He fought head-on though he was nearly killed by a mutated cheetah.
It's speed was far too high that he was forced to use the lightning which increased his perception and speed.
This continued for a week straight. Most of the beasts were now aware of his presence in this region.
His body became tougher as it was being crashed and regenerated during the week of sleepless nights. The beasts roamed more during the night which forced him into combat.
The beast meat became his favourite meal. The meat was rich in energy which nourished his body.
Today he was going to the next level and see what awaits him there. He was going to face a Peak Transcended realm beast.
He knew this was an over kill. He wanted to try out his trump cards. If pushed he might use Nemisis but that's what he wanted to avoid for now.
He soared in the sky and shot to the deeper parts of the forest. The forest was very big to the point that his divine sense was like a tip of the needle in the ocean.
As he flew, he sensed a powerful presence ahead. An excited grin appeared on just lips.
He flew faster. The black sword appeared in his right hand. Immense miasma poured into the sword. It vibrated slightly.
He had been itching to let loose. This battle was going to decide his progress. He wanted to release his pent up frustration. Not sleeping peaceful took a toll on him.
'You damn bear here I come. hehe.'
