Both of them were blown away by the impact. Karl stabilised 100 meters away. His hand felt numb. That Earth armour was a pain.
He disappeared. He thrusted forward. The bear deflected the sword and punched. He dodged to the side a wept a kick to its chest.
Much to his anger, it didn't even barge. His brains acted at supersonic speeds. He jumped back.

An earth spike appeared in his previous location. He closed the distance. A crimson flames appeared on his leg as he swept upwards.
Boom
The bear was blown upwards. It raised at a high speed. He followed. Much to his shock. Before he could react, the bear punched down with all its mighty.

He was thrusted down like a rag doll. He felt as if he was crashed by a hammer. A deep crater 300 meters deep was formed.
Before he could react, the bear came at a rapid pace under a free fall. Lightning sparked around him crazily. He pushed his body to the limit.
He stood up and held the hilt. Coated in miasma. The sword shot up.
The bear was shocked. The sword can at a lightning speed towards it. An earth wall started to materialise before it.
Boom
The sword easily pierced through the armour with ease. A dreadful miasma spread through its body.

A beastly roar shook the surrounding. Its eyes became bloodshot. It ran berserk. The only thing it thought of was to kill.
What he learnt was if you lost your sanity in a fight, then you are as good as dead. Though it had its downside. The beast would become more powerful and unrestrained.

He was blasted across the ground. A long trench appeared.
A bear appeared. It had a black sword embedded in its chest. The chest area had a black patch. Miasma was sucking its life force like crazy.
Roar
It appeared and punched him. Trees shuttered into pieces. The bear appeared at his destination. His body approached at a high speed. It punched forward.
Karl who was ambushed forcibly halted.

He turned around with a crimson spear in his hand. Instantly he seized the opportunity and threw the crimson spear forward.
The crimson spear coated by lightning shot forward.
It created a gaping hole in the chest of the bear.
His face was pale like sheet. He had to use his brains to the fullest. Battles for the strong didn't last long. But the destruction was very high. This battle didn't last a minute but 3 kilometers of this area was into ruins.
He fell down unconscious. The barrier disappeared. The Empress appeared.
"You have worked hard. I never thought you were this cunning. That bear was about to breakthrough to become an immortal beast. Its good you had a good plan from the start. Otherwise I would be forced to intervene. Facing these fierce beasts needs a strong will."
They disappeared. All the dirty on his disappeared. She placed him on his bed and left.
