Chapter 34 - A peaceful walk...

Bright rays illuminated the sky announcing the start of a new day. People could be seen setting off for their work.

A sliver haired man could be seen sleeping peacefully on a king-sized bed. He was very handsome beyond mortal standards.

His appearance could easily rival that of Gods. His skin was flawless.

His eyelids opened slightly. He sat up and reached out for his phone. It was 7:26 am.

He took a shower and refreshed. He walked out of the shower wrapped in a bath robe.

Knock Knock

Karl went and opened the door.

A butler stood there professionally with a cart of food.

"Goodmorning, Sir. Am James Witler at your service." He said.

Karl glanced briefly at his tag. He opened the door wide and let the man in without a word.

The middle aged man served the ditches at the table and left.

In a room opposite to his, the same scene happened though different. The butler looked around strangely but didn't see anyone. He was confused.

But he had learnt in his live to 'mind' his own business. His job was to serve food and since it was done, he immediately left.

A figure appeared after he had left. She was dressed in a blue robe with hid her beautiful body curves. Her golden hair reached her back. She wore a veil.

She gracefully picked up the ditches. She was really curious about the food in this world. Surprisingly, the food was very delicious. A strong aroma spread out in the room.

'Those dresses were good and all but... let's stick with mine for now. I will just store them away.

I will return to the tower. I need to prepare for my ascension. Lets enjoy a little and leave.'

Her golden eyes stared straight at Karl who was in his room.

'He sure has some guts to try and tease me. You still have a long way to go boy.'

Karl felt a chill run down his spine. He looked around in confusion.

He walked out of his suite and knocked at hers. The door opened. A feminine fragrance struck him. He forcefully controlled his argues.

The fragrance slightly stirred a flame in him. He spotted a veiled woman seated on a sofa in a blue robe.

Even as she sat, her wide hips could not be hidden.

She calmly sipped coffee.

"Already leaving, huh. Anyway I don't have anything to do here."

"Yeah, that's why am here. But why didn't you change into the dresses though."

'I can't wait to see how a real Goddess looks like. Its not much to ask right,..right?'

Her lips twisted slightly. Those dresses left nothing out. They would expose her exceptional curves.

Her body stood at the pinnacle of mortal standards. It's not a surprise that he was looking forward to seeing how she looked in that.

"Do you want to drool over my body that bad. It will take time. My robes are not bad either. Don't worry no one here can sense my presence unless I will it. Except when they are at my level which I doubt but slightly possible."

She said looking at him. She knew he had a very strong existence watching over him. She had no intention of probing.

They left the Royal Hotel. He decided to walk around as he showed her some places.

At first, it was rather awkward but after visiting a nearby arcade, he took her towards archery.

They spotted a few kids shooting. She was intrigued.

Though they still received some stares, it was minimal. He used his energy to mask his charm.

Her case was different, it was as if she didn't exist. Everyone immediately forgot about her after looking away.

She walked gracefully towards the kids.

"Big sister do you know how to shoot. I want to win that cute bear but I can't." A cute little girl with a doll face looked at the 'beautiful' woman in a blue robe. The woman was very tall so she looked up.

The veiled woman bent down slightly.

"It's only one cute bear right. Don't worry I will win two for you."

The little girl's beady eyes sparked in excitement.

The woman took a small bow and arrow. She stood silently and aimed.

Swoosh Target!

Swoosh Target!

She shot perfectly. Two cute bears were delivered. She smiled as she looked at the young girl who jumped happily.

"Thank you big sister. Now Emily is happy."

"Happy huh, that's good. You look cuter when happy." She said slightly pinching Emily's

cheek.

Karl who was treated as air smiled bitterly.

After sometime, they left the arcade. He wanted to board a taxi but seeing that she was enjoying the scenery around the city, he pushed the idea aside.

"Say Empress, are you okay with it if I introduce you to 'them'."

She thought silently but shook her head denying the idea.

"I will just return to the tower then. Its not the right time for that."

'And I can't wait to taste those ice cream flavours. I didn't expect these humans to be this innovative.'

Karl looked at this woman weirdly.

'Well she has her own reasons.'

What he didn't know was that she just wanted an excuse to leave and eat her ice cream in peace. Which place other than her tower.

She had a box full of ice cream. She had bought many things which intrigued her interest. And with that she disappeared.

He sighed. He was getting used to her nature. She wasn't a restrained woman. She did everything in a way she saw fit.

He continued his walk. The city was now filled with people. Numerous businesses buzzed with people up and down.

Karl whose divine sense was active could perceive everything in a diameter of 800 meters around him clearly as if using his eyes.

He spotted the coffee shop and approached it. There were afew people inside.

They were grabbing something to break their fast. There were six familiar faces which he spotted as they waved at him.

The six were very beautiful women who looked exactly the same. They were dressed beautifully in blue tight dresses.

He approached them. He looked at them in appreciation.

"You look stunning today ladies. It would be more accurate to call you Goddesses as you all look exactly as them." He said calmly. His praise was really guinine. They were all beauties in their own right.

It sometimes gave him chills as he heard one voice when they talked.

"Seems like your 'trip' was very fruitful. You have already transcended mortal limits. If this is known I don't know what chaos might occur." Sheila said. She was shocked. This was unheard of.

It took many hundreds of years to surpass mortal limits. Those unlucky ones were stuck at Saint rank for life.

It was really difficult to cross realms as he did. Some died in the process.
