Well then... Let's introduce ourselves first. I'm Edmond, and I work for a video games company. I was sacked on my birthday and was on my way home when suddenly a truck crashed into me! Trunks-kun killed me and I was isekai.
***
At the moment of my death, I was transported to a white room where the boundary was nowhere to be seen. There was nothing left around him but a white colour that blinded him. Of course, if you didn't count the old man in front of him, who had a rather mischievous air about him.
The old man in front of him was rather strange, he had a mischievous smile on the corner of his lip and looked at him strangely as if he were his grandfather. A moment of uncomfortable silence cut his appetite, "Welcome, wandering soul," he said.
Edmond could finally sigh, "Hello? Where am I?" I asked, the space had become rather dark by the time the old man had let go of his words. The room had become a void and stars began to twinkle around the edges of the room, huge black holes had appeared in a supposed universe and exploded.
I felt like I was watching Interstellar at the cinema, so well done was this cinematic, Matthew MacConaughey and his team-mates should really get attached!
The old man continued to stare at him strangely, which cut the excitement. He sighed and I shook my head.
I looked into the old man's eyes, and in an uncomfortable moment I could see a blatant resemblance to Dumbledore in Harry Potter. Isn't that copyright? A coincidence of this magnitude can't be just a coincidence, I thought.
The old man had started to smile, can he read her mind? It would be awful if he could, it would mean he'd been listening to me all along.
"Um-Hum-"
"Are you Dumbledore?"
We spoke at the same time and there was an uncomfortable silence again. Was it my fault? I didn't feel we were compatible at all.
While I was moping about, the old man started laughing, "Pfft. Ha ha! Man, you're pretty funny" he said.
I laughed nervously and scratched the back of my head, "Yes".
A moment later, he stopped laughing as if it were all an illusion, "Well, anyway! Let's get back to the main subject and get straight to the objective, shall we, kid?" he said seriously.
Her gaze was rather heavy for him, a mere human and a poor employee, so he could only nod like a little chick who had to go to the slaughterhouse to become a poor Macdonald's nugget.
Save the little chicks, please.
The old man nodded with satisfaction, "Good! I'll summarise the story for you, it'll be easy! You left your job after being made redundant and that day Trunks-kun came by looking for people who could be isekai and you were there at exactly the right time, isn't that the situation now?"
I nodded, the story made sense.
He continued, "At the same time, a creator died and his place was freed, you, who are now dead, were isekai to replace the loser, so you will now become the new creator," he said without waiting for an answer from me, "Being lucky, you will be reincarnated in the world of the gods.
I didn't quite understand exactly what he was saying, but I nodded. I thought I'd been reincarnated in a nice world where I could become a protagonist, so the details didn't really matter to me.
The old man, who was reading my mind, shattered my hopes, "You're not going to be any kind of hero or protagonist, kid.
I nodded, sweat breaking out on my forehead, "What do you mean..."
"You'll be a. God!" he said with wonder as if it were the greatest aspiration of people in the world.
A god," I murmured.
Being a god might not be bad, I thought. It could be a good experience for me, and as a video game designer, I've got quite an edge in that area. I looked at the old man and nodded.
"You'll be a kind of God in your world, you'll have to create and develop your world to the most powerful and highest position possible. You must govern worlds and defend yourself against other worlds." he said, but thinking he'd stopped monologuing, he continued, "Unfortunately for you, this isn't your day. Your future is going to look very bleak," he said, as if he'd seen my future.
"What do you mean-" Before I could finish my sentence, a sudden confusion made me dizzy and nauseous, my senses began to lose feeling and I was quickly sent into a coma, unconscious.

Edmond began to wake from his long sleep as he heard the system's command instructions.
Welcome to the ranks of world creator. Start developing your worlds to participate in the world battles. For the different options, just think "Options".
A window of status appeared before his eyes, startling him greatly. He thought he was dreaming, but after recalling the events of his time with the old man, he quickly made the connection with his current situation. He remembered that after talking to the old man, he had lost consciousness. He thought that it was the old man who had moved him here, chasing away his thoughts, he concentrated on the words in front of him.
The message told him to open the options box, maybe I should do that?
'Options.'

New options appeared in front of him, and unlike the status parameter they thought they were seeing, it was pretty basic for a start. A list of characters appeared in front of him, and he already had to make a choice.
There wasn't much he could do, he hadn't been given any indication so he decided to open the first option he could.

A new status window appears in front of him, surprising him. He has to choose the options for his companion, who will accompany him for the rest of his life. It's a choice I had to make carefully, and one that reminded me a little of the teachers who told us to do well at the baccalauréat or we'd miss out on life. I laughed when I remembered that, but it wasn't the right time.
I couldn't feel my body any more, but I pretended to think by imagining my hands resting on my chin. Anyway, to start with, I'd have to choose a name that made sense. A name that's close to me and means something to me.
What about my parents? My parents died when I was born, in a car accident, so I was brought up by my grandparents and I never really knew what they were like. So I wasn't very close to them. What's more, as I came out of my mother's womb after her death, I was born prematurely, which led to some unusual harassment. Everyone avoided me, so I didn't really have a choice of friends, but it was better than physical or verbal harassment, I was lucky.
Apart from my parents, only one person came to mind, but I don't know if she could be described as close. Let's just say she was a close friend, whom I saw often and spoke to when I could. She was the neighbour of my grandparents who lived in the building opposite me, so it was normal that we'd bump into each other often.
But unlike the others who avoided me like the plague, she often invited me to play with her, she was a kind of beacon in my life and like all children, I fell in love with her but when I declared my love for her, she refused me kindly, I was a little sad but I knew deep down that it was impossible so I put those feelings aside and we remained good friends.
Unfortunately for us, all relationships had to come to an end, it was the time when we had to become high school students and at that point, dating dropped off, and our dates disappeared completely. She had found a boyfriend, and I was still alone. So we ended up splitting up when her boyfriend asked her out, which was a shame because I got on well with her.
Anyway, I'm rambling a bit, Nishley would be a good name, it was my neighbour's. After all, I couldn't forget her, I suppose. One can hope in life after all, if I could have seen her I would have paid as much money as I needed to.
For the other options, I quickly chose the optimum parameters to make my companion look like Nishley, the sex being a woman, the most sensible choice. After all, I wasn't really going to choose a man, a woman is essential in a man's life and even if I was reborn into a new life, I was still going to remain heterosexual.

A moment later, the load finished and a grey ball appeared out of nowhere in the white space around me. The ball began to increase in volume until it reached a certain height, then grew, creating various limbs until it formed a certain silhouette.
The grey ball burst and a luminous silhouette appeared, an exact copy of my close friend. Of course, the clothes didn't seem to be in the starter pack.
While I was thinking about what to do, she started to open her eyes slowly, and looked at me, who was standing still in front of her. I didn't know what to think, did she remember me?
While I was thinking, my friend began to gesticulate and contract her muscles as if she'd just been born. A bit like birds starting to hatch and be born. A moment later, her eyes met mine and, compared to the first time, I could see a kind of clarity that I'd forgotten after so many years.
She smiled and ran towards me, shouting, "Edmond!"
Her voice alone made me nostalgic, and she jumped on top of me, pressing her body against mine. A kind of cabbage began to press against my chest.
I blushed, trying not to concentrate on what she was feeling, but it was impossible. I took her by the shoulder and pulled her back, surprising Nishley.
All right, I admit it, I'm still a man! But I've never fantasised about my friend, never! My son started to get up, but I squeezed him hard. It's not my body! I whispered, pulling him down as far as I could before she could find out.
Nishley, who had understood the situation, smiled happily. I started to blush, "Oh, oh! You've got a hard-on for your friend eh?" she said, continuing, "Well, apart from that, it's been a while?" she said as she hugged me.
I blushed as she hugged me, but on the other hand I could feel her warmth burrowing into me. I thought maybe it was a blessing to have been reincarnated in a new world.
