Diana Moonshail sneered at the drama unfolding. She was sure this poor man was to suffer soon. The sisters had different personalities. One of the traits similar in them was, they may look harmless yet they were innately territorial.
If one was to hurt their loved ones, the person was to suffer worse doom than the death.
Her second sister was enraged at the fact that they could have suffered severe injuries by the merman's attack just now.The shock just was too light of a revenge for her baby sister to quench her wrath.
" This humble servant has made an offense, I beg your highnesses to forgive this ignorant servant."
"It's alright, take us to the king."
Iah commanded in a gentle voice. As if the bloodthirsty siren from before was not her.
"Surely, my ladies. please follow me."
The merman leader quickly turned sideways to make a polite gesture indicating for them to follow. He was grateful that the princesses had seemed to have forgiven him.
The poor man was too innocent to understand the demon in humans clothing yet.
Diana Moonshail followed first before Iah and Esmaray followed behind her. They swam for a long while afore stopping infront of a huge cave door . The leader let out a soft cry to indicate their arrivals. The doors of the magnificent cave opened to reveal a bright and colourful world.
The inside of the door was like another world. It shimmed with millions of pearls , lightening the whole area, with colourfull plants and fishes scattered around.It was a gratifying scenario for one to witness.
"Please enter, my ladies."
The leader quickly curtsied in a humble manner before quickly rushing in to inform his king about the visitors.
The three princesses were invited to take a seat at chairs which looked like bubbles. Mermans were standing there to cater to any of the visitors needs. They seem to have guessed the other party's status by the second in commander's submissive behaviour.
Soon after, a group consisting of a dozen people came out. The leading one was an alluring young man. The man's lower body was of a fish with a fish tail and the upper half wad of a human. A typical merman to say.
The man was truly beautiful to admit truthfully. Esmaray Moonshail was instantly enchanted by his presence and looks. The man was about eight feets tall and his figure was lean and slender like a fish.
The most enchanting characteristics would be his eyes. They were dark blue which matched the colour of his silky long hair.
This man's eyes are no less beautiful than my second sister.
Diana Moonshail admitted internally.
"To what do I owe your honoured presences here in my kingdom, my ladies."
Theo Minesworth, the crown Prince of the Merman City spoke up. His deep voice seemed to have the allure of a siren's voice. Captivating one to get lost into the trance of dizziness.
Theo ran his eyes over the three girls, before stopping to look straight into Esmaray's azure eyes. A cresent smile bloomed on his seducing face as he caught her staring at him.
Esmaray Moonshail blushed and quickly controlled her racing heartbeat to look sharply in his eyes. She was stupid enough to let her guards down in the enemies land the first time. There was no way in hell that she could fall for it twice, she would be shaming the Moonshail bloodline if she did so.
"We wish to obtain the emerald pearl."
Diana Moonshail curtly answered sensing the tension going on between her sister and the man. The princess's statement not only rendered the ministers and the leaders of the merman tribe speechless but also the prince himself was bewildered for a fraction of a second.
"How impudent. Do you know....."
One of the ministers from the prince's side rushed forward while angrily growling at the young women. However, he was stopped in between before he could complete his sentence. The minister's mouth was sealed by Iah Moonshail. He could not speak unless Iah wished given how little power he had.
"We do not wish for any arguments. We are here with a fair deal in an exchange of the emerald pearl."
Iah Moonshail gently voiced out. She was back in her usual gentle and harmless look. It was hard to decipher her devil nature from her current behaviour.
"Do tell us your deal then."
Theo Minesworth chortled mirthfully making his way to sit across the Iah Moonshail,who was sitting between the two sisters. He completely turned a blind eye to the trick Iahh just pulled on his minister.
Well, to speak like that to the princess of Dreamland,the minister was seeking death. If she had not silenced him, he would have done so himself.
"A thousand ivory coins in exchange of emerald pearl."
Diana Moonshail put forth the deal. Ivory coins were treasures which were rare and precious to every species. To give a thousand of them was a astronomical amount.
" Sorry to disappoint you princess. The mermaid city does not lack the ivory coins in the least."
Theo Minesworth asserted back in the face of a good deal. His smirk indicated his lack of interest in the deal.
" What else do you need? A thousand ivory coins are a good deal already. "
Esmaray Moonshail snorted at the prince's annoying behaviour. It was bad to be greedy and this man was crossing the limit of being the character limit of being greedy. He just wanted to take advantage of them due to their predicament.
"How about you marry me. I will give you as many as emerald pearl you want."
The merman prince teased,amused by the girl's irritated expression. The girl was truly a beauty. Innocent and straight forward. Totally his type.
Marrying her was not a bad idea, it seemed.
Esmaray Moonshail was left shocked being teased so openly like this. The girl's face blushed furiously which no one could confirm the cause of. It either was the result of her anger or out of shyness. Only the princess herself knew.
