The three princesses swam for a good while yet still had quite a long way to go. Diana Moonshail looked around and let out a deep howl .
Sensing the formers sudden movements, Iah Moonshail and Esmaray Moonshail turned towards their eldest sister only to find her gazing at the upcoming sea animal .
The animal had a sleek long body which was around 3 meters long, consisting of a dorsal fin at its back with two fins at each sides. The animal was similar to a dolphin with silvery sleek body. The dolphin had sensed the human's cry for help as it showed up soon after being summoned.
The dolphin slowed down infront of the three sister's waiting for them to hop on. Without much delay, Diana hoped onto it's back before turning back to signal her two baby sisters to do the same.
Iah Moonshail was used to being in the waters and was quite familiar with the creatures in it. The more she discovered, the more gratified she felt to witness the nature's beauty.
The sea was enormously vast in size. The species and creatures residing in it were varying and mostly undiscovered. Whatever it may have, these magnificent and beautiful creatures were something she could never take for granted.
"Thank you,buddy."
Iah Moonshail hopped onto the dolphins back not forgetting to pet it's adorable head to signify her gratitude. Esmaray Moonshail followed too.
With the dolphins great speed in waters, the three quickly reached the shore. Princesses of Dreamland stood facing the sea animal who refused to leave.
"Go back to your mother."
The size of the dolphins suggested that the dolphin was born not too long ago. Iah had seen a similar silver giant dolphin who was probably the baby dolphin's mother.
The animals belonging to a same species varied in colours in this world. The silver dolphins living in this area of the waters should belong to the same family she guessed.
Iah bent down to leave a gentle kiss on the dolphins head before backing away. The dolphins seemed to have understood and soon swam back into the sea. It bid them farewell by breaching onto the surface. The moonlight reflected the dolphins silver smooth skin. The breaching dolphin seemed to be enveloped into the moonlight, creating a magnificent scenery for the onlookers.
The three smiled at the adorable creatures departing figure before walking back to the palace.
When the three arrived it was already late into the night, however the palace was heavily lit, which shouldn't be the case.Realising the bizarre occurance, the three came out of the usual carefree attitude they displayed.
At their arrival did they realise, the whole palace was in chaos. Maids and servants rushed out to carry stuff before bringing them back towards the Moonshail chambers. Sages and spiritual scholars were also seen entering the chambers.
Iah Moonshail rushed in in her fastest possible speed in worry while Diana and Esmaray ran to follow behind her.
"What's going on in here?"
Esmaray Moonshail grabbed the arms of the running maid servant, asking her in a chilling cold voice. The young princess's voice made the female servant freeze for few seconds before she quickly bowed down to offer her respects.
"Replying to the third princess. The second second mother of the city is currently suffering in pain and has been vomiting blood from the early evening."
The wives of the king were referred as mothers by the whole city except for the queen herself, who was addressed as the empress. The title was to express utmost respect towards the wives irrespective of their powers and ranks.
The maid answered quickly almost forgetting to breathe out of apprehension. The little maid didn't dare to raise her head as she was too scared to look at the two Princesses who were currently boiling in rage.
Esmaray Moonshail exchanged looks with her eldest sister before the two girls ran across the hallway to reach their second mother's resting chamber.
When they both arrived in the room, they saw mother Aray looking sickly pale as she barely moved ,her body lying limply onto the bed. Besides her sat Iah Moonshail, who was currently transferring the emerald pearl towards Mother Aray.
The room was packed with people who appeared just as anxious as they were. Mother Aray was given the title not just for no reason. She was the king's most adored wife, even more so compared to the queen herself.
Mother Aray was not the king's favourite for no reason. She was famous for being the neighbouring countries most beautiful maiden and had prosperity and favour of the king, being the only child.
Yet this woman was the most kind person one could find in the whole city. Many were either saved or benefited by her, resulting into her having so many souls to pray for her well-being.
King Helion Moonshail was currently seated on the bed at the right side of Mother Aray while Iah Moonshail occupied the space in the left.
The other three wives stood worriedly behind the king. Sages and saints of the imperial court surrounded the royal family discussing the cure and follow up treatment for the patient.
Mother Aray slowly opened her eyes while her cheeks had gained their usual rosy colour. She looked around her , scanning the room full of people with her blue eyes.
After understanding the current situation and the danger she had just went through, her soulful eyes rested on Iah.She reached out her left hand towards the young girl to pull her closer .
King Helion Moonshail quickly scooted over to help her sit up when he saw her actions. He held his wive gently in his arms letting her rest against his chest. The man, who could control half of the species was currently filled with only gentleness and love towards his beloved, seeing her return back to life.
No one knew how suffocated his heart had felt when he saw his beloved woman slowly loose her breathes. He experienced the pain of being the king, how desperately he had wished he could take out his elemental core and relife his wife. However, he was bound to his duties towards his motherland.
