Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Lively Family.

Diana and Esmaray shrugged in disdain at their father's awkward action. Their father was normally exceptionally eloquent and well spoken in his commands.

The man had control over the most powerful lands as a result of this man's alarming intelligence. Yet when facing his own daughter, this man turned all silly and willy.

It was mainly due to his guilt towards his second daughter which made him especially cautious when he tried to strike up a conversation.

Take the current situation as an example. Should this man had not just asked about the latter's health?

Here he was , asking questions like those sages back in the education monestry.

The duo turned to look at their second sister, who appeared to be focused on analysing the painting. They were actually well suited as a father and daughter.

One played and other got played!

Diana and Esmaray trembled in disdain at their father's nonsensical behaviour.

He was already bad enough yet still refused to learn from them.

How infuriating!

"Replying to father. The painting here infront of us is called The valley of stars made by the great painter, Scholar Hermes back in his early days in 'The city of fireflies'. The night view of the city is well known for it's starry sky. The technique and skills of the painter had catched the vivid dreamy scene of the starry sky. The singular choice in colours represent the simplicity of the nature. On the other hand, the strokes seemed to have portrayed the benust beauty of the sky. "

Iah pointed out one by one , as her fingers traced the strokes of the painting. The young girl appeared entranced by the art and the hardwork of the artist. She analysed the painting in her best of understanding and knowledge.

"Not bad. So do you know the inspiration behind this painting here?"

King Helion Moonshail probed further. His dark red eyes shimmed with glee indicating his good mood. He was so far satisfied with the girls through analysis and appreciation for art.

What caused him more joy was the blank look on her adorable face. This brat was always quick with her responses and rarely fell in difficulty while answering. He thoroughly enjoyed her confused expression now.

The king was bathing in self praise , waiting for her to ask him for the answer.

Just then.....

"Scholar Hermes painted this masterpiece I'm the memory of his late wife, Helena."

A females clear , authoritative voice sounded behind them. The group of father and daughters turned to look behind them to find queen Trish standing in a short distance away from them.

"Greeting mother the empress a good day "

The three young princesses stood up from their seats to greet her. They bowed about forty five degrees, with their head lowered. The queen was clad in a maroon coloured cloak with a small palm sized crown resting firmly on top of her head.

"This humble wive greets his highness,my lord a pleasant morning."The queen turned to bow towards the king, her tone neither arrogant not servile. She carried herself with utmost grace and her every movement spoke up for her royalty.

"Wishing you a pleasant morning too my queen."

The king stood up to help his wive stand straight which the latter did. Once the woman was standing straid again, the man slipped his hands to hold the lady's shoulder to pull her closer to him.

Helion Moonshail inched closer towards the woman to whisper something into her ears which caused the latter to turn pink.

"Mother, is the meal ready? We are hungry."

Esmaray quickly asked, lest the situation developed any further. All three of them were left in distance towards this father of theirs, who didn't let go of a single chance to flirt with his wives.

They were too bored to watch this man act like a hooligan in the presence of their mothers.

No matter how many times this careless man ended up angering their mothers. They must admit this man had some tricks up in his sleeves given how fast he appeased the angered ladies the very next morning.

Whatever,it was not like they were in the least bit interested to know his tricks.

How unpleasant!

Queen Trish quickly eyed the man signalling him to release her. She was beyond embarassment hearing the man flirt lewdly besides her ears.

Could this man not hold on his flirty personality infront of their children?

What if they heard his lecherous remark by any chance?

How was she to face her daughter's in the future then?

This man was initially bullying her second daughter who had not even fully healed and now he was bullying her.

How evil!

The queen decided to not the the man enter her chambers for a while week to teach this man a lesson. She had to avenge her daughter and herself.

Humph!

After plotting the sly plan, the queen sneered in amusement not sparing a glance at the king.

"Your second mother had already finished preparing the meal. Let's hurry back before she gets mad."

The mother asserted before turning to walk out not waiting for the king.

'Hey ,wait up."

King Helion cried in surprise not expecting to be given a cold shoulder this early in the morning.

When the family of five entered the dining chamber, half of the dishes were served by the servants while a few were still being cooked.

"Wash your hands before you eat."

Mother Nala, the third wife the the king spoke seeing the little gluttons of her daughters running straight to the dining table. The woman appeared alluring with innate grace in her movements.

The third wife was the only water sign in the royal family. Her water skills passed the high degree of control with her alarming speed. She was dressed in a blue velvety cloak with blue crystals donning her head in elegance.

The woman smiled at her children's childish behaviour. These princesses were given the most strict training of etiquettes yet still behaved like toddlers sometimes.
