It's peaceful here."
Iah Moonshail remarked calmly, so calmly as to match the serenity of the night, and surely it did. The young girl's voice had the slight hint of conviction and solemnity yet comforting all at once.
The shimmering pearls laid heavily at the seashore reflected the moonlight to form the most venust of a night. The young girl's azure coloured loose hair matched the rhythm of the indigo coloured sea waves.
It was never enough. The longer she gazed at the sea waters, she more she yearned to stay here. Salvation was what the waters felt like to Iah, the second princess.
No one knew the reason of this attachment. Iah , herself wondered and thought for a long while, why and how she felt the certain familiarity to the sea.Neither their father, the king was a water element nor was the queen, the three sister's biological mother.
She, herself was the earth element.
The deep rooted doubt had once led her to ask her father, if he knew the cause of her inexplicable trait. The king had stared deeply in her eyes and had said that it might be because she was blessed by the god of sea of the wonders.
At last, no one actually knew and didn't pursue the matter.
Iah Moonshail fell into deep thought with her eyes gazing towards the sea.
Alas!
Long hour passed before the three went back to rest when reminded by the eldest girl.
The sunshine felt inspiring after the farewell of the long night . The city of Dreamland once again buzzed with vigor with the mark of new day. Another morning brought another inspiration, another meaning and another memory to life.
Morning in the royal palace currently looked like this. The morning discussion was currently being held in the Court of Justice between the king and Sources of balance, the ministers .
The Four wives would be personally preparing the breakfast for the family. The wives were usually busy with the charity and house affairs. However,no matter how hectic the schedule, the wives always preferred to cook the morning feast for the whole family.
It was their covert behaviour of showing their love for their family and beloved ones.
There was a controversial rumour being circulated in the city, back in the days which was about the king himself cooking for his wives and daughters. However, no one confirmed or denied the aforementioned rumour , so it generally died down.
The unresponsiveness was infact the acknowledgement itself. The king actually cooked often for his family. He just didn't let anyone speak about it. The fact if not revealed by the mischievous first princess, would have never been in the rumours.
There were many such incidences concerning the royal family. Few of which were about the first princess liking the vampire prince and the another being about the second princess's secret engagement with the demon prince , which was said to be set by the late king of Dreamland city.
Well...
The former one of them was actually the truth. Diana Moonshail, who was known for being extremely mischievous and sly, was also very stubborn. The marriage proposals for her had been rejected quite a few times in the start when she returned from the mandatory education. Soon, people realised the Beauty was unfortunately in no plans to get married.
However, few years ago, a former maid who used to serve the first princess revealed about the first princess having a hand-drawn painting of the vampire prince in her room.
The latter rumour was apparently false. There was never a precedence of the royal bloodline of mages marrying into the demon bloodline in the history.
Back in the palace. King Helion came out of the court of ministers after the morning discussion. He walked straight towards the Moonshail chambers where the main royal family actually resided.
"Are those three up yet."
The king asked without turning back . The king currently was just a helpless father, tired off by his children's mischief yet too soft hearted to deal to punish them.
The king's chief advisor, who also catered to the king's accommodation and schedule, was following behind him. Chief advisor Marcus was efficient and decisive in his job. however, this clear-headed chief would shake at the mere mention of the three Princesses.
Traumatic incidents from the past were hard to shake off. The chief was once chased by the second princess's ivory horse and severely injured. Since that day, he feared the three Princesses, especially the second one.
" Replying to his highness, the king. The three Princesses were not found in their chambers this morning."
The statement,if said for anyone normal would have been concerning. Well , who wouldn't be worried if their daughter's were not found. However this absence of the Princesses was a common scene in the royal palace.
Worries and concern were like long lost relatives now to them. The princess would go missing and would come back whenever they wanted. Everyone was used to it now.
"Let them be,then."
A helpless sigh followed after. These daughters of his were such pain in the head. They would go missing one after another for days and if that was not all. Those brats would come up with trouble for him to clean up after they were done.
Nostalgia flashbacks followed the father's mind as he walked through the pathway. He vividly remembered his three daughters coming home after three days, all bruised and injured with blood on their small childish faces.
The eldest and the second eldest daughters of his had apparently trespassed the Education Monestry to meet the third princess. The maid by Esmaray's side had secretly sent them a letter, so they came to know that their third sister was bullied by a senior of the same monestry.
Thus, the two children , respectively 15 and 12 years old had ran away from home to help their baby sister to beat that senior up. Unfortunately the senior had quite a group to save him, leading to a considerable fight to ensue.
However, when faced with the complaint from the monestry. The king was actually proud to know that his two baby daughters had beaten the hell out of 7 teenage boys for their sister. The father had then gleefully dealt with mess .
