Chapter 51 - 50 - Results

Seeing Michael coming out with a tired face all but dragging himself and his backpack out.

"Let's leave, I just want my bed right now." Michael complained as he yawned.

"What you think you can just leave without me huh?" A dangerous arua came from right behind Michael which caused him to become wide wake as he all but jumped out of his skin as a hand was placed on his shoulder.

"What are you trying to leave me behind?" A voice like a whispering ghost, at least to Michael whispered into his ear from behind.

"Who would want to spend time with an old lady like you." Michael immediately went into offensive mood, not realising what he said hit home.

Before he knew it he was grabbed from behind into a choke hold.

"Alright enough fighting you too." Victor shook his head upon seeing both Michael and Violet fighting again.

Seeing that they didn't stop he spoke once more in a sad voice while waking away.

"Well I geust I'll just have to cancel dinner tonight." Both Violet and Michael froze when they heard this, and even quicker than they could start a fight they seperated and acted like nothing happened.

"What do you mean? How can we not have dinner, especially when you two haven't had a proper meal the last few days." Violet waved with a slightly nervous smile.

"Yeah we need to eat something good to celebrate finishing our exams!" Michael cheered trying to persuade Victor.

"Alright what do you guys want to eat?" Victor successfully stopped them from fighting so he was a little happy.

From there they went back to the apartment to celebrate and eat a full meal, during this Violet began to ask which academy they were thinking of going to.

"So now that you guys have done your exams, so do you have any thoughts on which academy you want to go too." Violet really wanted to know the thoughts of both on this topic, as it'll have a huge impact on their futures.

"Well I've never thought about, after all I'm just going to chose the same as Victor, so why would I think about it." Michael was completely nonchalant and didn't even spare a second away from the food in front of him.

"Unreliable as usual, well at least Victor should have thought about it, so tell us your thoughts." Violet rolled her eyes at Michael before like usual sighing in relief that Victor was smarter.

"Yes I've put some thought into it but I'm still unsure as there isn't much information about the academies here in Flora City." Victor said, as he truely hasn't made a choice yet as there isn't any information.

"Huh? How can there not be any information about the academies?!" Violet nearly fell out of her chair in shock.

"Well there's only really detailed information about the academies ranked 15 and below in the Empire, outside of them there's no other info." Victor replied as he felt a little troubled, as there was a huge amount of information you could normally access that you couldn't here in this City.

"Umm alright I guess I'll tell you about it then, so I won't talk about the academies here in the empire as only the top 3 are worth anything but it'll limit you guys to much that combined with the potential suppression you'll get."

Violet began to explain seemed to remember something but caught herself before going back on topic.

"Yeah so let's forget about that, moving on only the 15 academies are worth anything but even still they broken up into ranks.

So basically they aren't the same weather it be the amount of knowledge, resources, strength, ability or quality each on different level compared to all the rest."

"Now each of the 15 are set up in different areas across all of the nation's in the alliance, now each has their own advantages and disadvantages." Violet took a sip of homemade lemonade before continuing.

"Each of them is ranked, the higher the rank the better, so I'll only mention the best ones which will interest you guys. First is Fire Phoenix which is most known for their Alchemy and students with fire class, and ranked 3rd." Violet showed her phone to them both.

On the screen was a picture of Fire Phoenix's emblem and as well as a quick introduction to the school.

The academy strongest quality was their pil Alchemy department as well as their fire magic department.

The schools uniform was red, orange and gold with flame patterns and the schools emblem was over the heart, which was a golden Phoenix.

"Next is Mithril Academy which is ranked 2nd, it was originally founded by the Iron Rock Empire. The have some of the best Smiths out of all the 15, and have an extremely excellent reputation for their defensive class holders." Taking the phone back the change to the Mithril Academy website.

The schools emblem was a multi-coloured shield made of Mithril with a black anvil and two silver hammers on it.

"Next is Holy Academy which is ranked 6th, they unfortunately for you only recruit people with light, holy and sacred classes, they are the best at teaching healing and support classes. They are also known for their holy knights and swordsman."

"Ranked 7th is the Honour Academy, it is known for its weapons training and Knight type classes." Violet went through all of the top Academies as Victor listened seriously.

"Now ranked 1st is the academy that sits first in magical Knowledge, that is Eternal Academy. It has the most Magical classes out of all the academies, and I would've recommended for you to go to there but well." She turned to Michael who was stuffing his face.

"What?" Michael froze when he saw them both looking at him.

"Nothing, anyway now the last which is the one I recommend as I'm a student there myself." Violet tapped her chest proudly.

"Oh which one is that?" Victor asked in interest.

"Well that is of course ranked number 5th, Dragon Star Academy. Different from the rest of the 15 it doesn't specialise in any one thing. Instead 90 years ago the current headmaster changed the school to have a department in each area.

After that change the school rapidly grew in the ranks under the headmaster, as the school introduced a bunch of new policies. For one the school no longer recruited off of class but instead because of talent and hard work." Violet said in a proud voice.

"So if you go there no matter your class or background you can reach the top off of hard work and competition. Making the school have the the most hard working and talented students."

"Although the other schools are great as well... But that doesn't matter." Violet patiently explained.

"Alright so each academy is specialised in certain fields but still have departments in other fields..." Victor started to think about which one to pick.

"If I ment the requirements along with Michael then I guess Dragon Star Academy is my first choice then." Victor nodded as he made his choice.

From there Violet answered a bunch of questions for them before a wave of tiredness hit them, especially Victor as he had spent a huge amount of mental strength over the exam to control his skeletons.

So after cleaning up they went back to their rooms to sleep.

"I'll see you two tomorrow so get your sleep in as we have a busy day tomorrow ahead of us." Violet waved them goodnight before leaving the apartment.

After entering her own apartment Violet pulled out her phone before calling someone.

"Hi, so they've got potential.... Yes they do.... Ok then I'll see you later... Ok by the way I want to borrow.... Thanks bye..." She hung up the phone before looking out the window.

Michael was having a wonderful dream, eating as much as he wanted while not having to workout or anything. The world was beautiful, as he was feed food by beautiful ladies but it was all of the sudden it was destroyed as he felt a pain in his stomach.

"Bang!"

"WHAT THE HELL!" Michael jumped up off the ground before turning around to attack whoever ruined his sweet dream.

"I won't tell you again, get up and wide that stupid drool off your creepy smile." Violet gave him a disgusted look before leaving his room.

"What?" Michael rubbed his eyes before looking at him self in the minor, he had a drool running down his mouth.

Meanwhile Victor was already wake and making breakfast for everyone.

"He awake?" Victor didn't even turn around when he heard Violet sit down on the couch and turn on the tv.

"He is now, but you owe me." Violet replied, leaning her head back to look at Victor.

"Why?" Victor paused before looking over to her in confusion.

"He had a stupid creepy smile on his face as he drooled everywhere, it's disgusting." Violet shivered upon remembering that sight.

"Why did you kick me out of my bed?" Michael came out of his room with a upset expression.

"That's your own fault." Violet defended from actions by blaming Michael.

It was at this time that both Victor and Michael's phones beeped catching everyone's attention.

"That should be your results!" Violet jumped up in excitement and ran over to them.

"Come on tell me your results!" She asked full of impatience.

Victor checked his phone, were he found a text that read 'Wise Victor, your results have been calluclated and can be accessed through the official website....'

Victor then opened the official government website and logged in with his student id.

"So what's your results?" Violet once again asked.

"I got an A+ on the knowledge, A on the Combat and a B on the final test. Overall I got A rating." Victor read out his results.

"Me I got a B- for the knowledge, combat A+ and finally an A. Overall I got a A as well." Michael said full of disinterest.

"Ha that's great, not only do you guys get a reward from the Empire but you guys also meet the requirements to enrol in Dragon Star Academy." Violet cheered happily.

Here in Great Star Empire students get rewarded depending on the results of the Exam, as a way to boost students and cultivate their sense of belonging to the empire.

All the rewards are broken up between the lowest E- to S+ the highest, the higher the score the better the rewards.
