"Wait did that's the case why aren't we out there killing monsters right now?" Michael suddenly realised coming to the conclusion that they were wasting time.
"Ha, if you can kill any monster outside the city I'll genuinely be impressed." Violet laughed at him once more, while feeling at little exhausted.
"Why we can take them, isn't that right Bro." Michael rose to the challenge in excitement.
"You can try but I'm not suicidal." Victor had a weird look of his face at Michael's words.
"Huh what do you mean?" Michael looked at Victor in shock, this was the first time he had heard Victor replie like this and he didn't like it.
"Well let me educate you, you see those city guards over there right?" Violet pointed to a group of 5 guards patrolling.
"Yeah what about them?" Michael didn't get her point.
"Well each of them are Tier 2, amongst the City Guards there's even Tier 3. And there main job is to stop monsters from invading the city, so you can imagine how strong the monster are outside the city." Violet enjoyed the rapid change of Michael's face.
"Hell even I can't cause trouble here as there is the mayor of this city who's at least Tier 5, then you have the military that's stationed here." Violet said with some emotion while feeling a little weak, after Tier 4 wasn't all that impressive.
"The military is stationed here?" Victor asked wanting to know more, after who in the empire didn't look up to the military, they protected everyone after all.
"Yes young man.." the old man spoke with pride.
"Spring City is right next to the great wild, so we supply the soldiers with food and water. So there's a military base here, as even if we aren't the closest or the strongest city close to the border we have more than enough food."
"The great wild huh." Victor muttered in thought, everyone knew what the great wild was.
It was a unclaimed area not belonging to anyone but the monsters, super rich in resources and opportunities but even more dangerous.
But even though it's called the Great Wild no one knows how big it actually is, at the same time it's not the only Wild area.
As the world is so huge that no one knows how big it is or what's out there, but one thing everyone knows, it's a dangerous world out there.
"Well you two are in for a surprise." Violet suddenly smiled mysteriously.
"Oh good we're here." But before anyone could ask what she meant they arrived at their destination.
Getting off the small boat Victor turned to the huge building, in front of him was a hall type building that had an open design with large columns.
This building was the teleportation centre in the City, from here you could teleport to any of the approved places that also had a teleportation circle in the Empire.
Luckily for them you could also go too 3 of the 15 academies cities from this Spring City, and one of them was Dragon City.
Standing guard around the hall were Heavy Guards keeping watch over everything with stern gazes.
After all this building was one of the most important places in the city, as it allowed for not only long distance travel but also for the transported of goods.
As the Empire was so large with areas you couldn't even travel through with powerful monsters, it made tade and transporting items extremely hard and dangerous.
So powerful merchant guilds and organisations use teleportation centres throughout the empire and beyond to transport items large distances.
Not to mention the large amount of people using them to travel between cities, but the Centre was also the cities trump card.
As not only could citizens be evacuated through it but they could get assistance as well.
So this building is one of if not the most guarded building in most cities.
So when the three of them entered they had to go through checks first much like the City entrance, this also happened to those who had just teleported to the city as well.
Walking into the huge hall after going through security a grand sight appeared before them.
The floor was decorated with brooze coloured metal patterns inlayed into the black marble slabs.
The was a open dome with a large chandelier in the centre lighting up the whole hall.
Joined onto the hall was three different opened areas, two had teleportation circles that allowed you to leave.
And the last one on the right was where people teleporting to the city appeard.
Now all the teleportation circles were for normal use, so citizens and adventures. There was another area for merchants, guilds and soldiers.
Walking into the middle of the hall was a reception area, where people paid for tickets to teleport to their chosen location.
"You two wait here, I'll be back in a sec, alright." Violet said before leaving them heading over to one of the reception desks.
While she was talking to the male receptionist, both boys looked around in interest talking to each other.
"So what do you think?" Michael saked looking at the groups of parties coming and going.
"About what?" Victor said not really liking being in such a crowded area.
"Our future plans of course, after all you've mostly got that to deal with." Michael alluded to something with his words which actually managed to get a response from Victor.
"Well.... I'll deal with it when the time comes, after all we don't know what will happen." Victor replied not really knowing what to say.
"Come on you two let's go." Violet interpreted them as she called them to follow her.
Hurrying after her she lead them over to platform 1 that was to the left, there a staff checked their tickets before allowing them in.
Walking in there wasn't much in the room, but most noticeable was the large magic circle in the centre of the room.
Victor attempted to memorise the magic circle in front of him but there seemed to impede him as he felt a headache coming on.
A Staff member took their tickets before selecting Dragon City, the magic circle started to light up as it consumed magic stones.
"Please stand on the magic circle and prepare yourselves, as you might feel unwell after teleporting." He said as he directed them to stand on the magic circle.
A bright silver light flashed as the three of them disappeared and the magic engravings dimmed.
Victor felt as if he was thrown into a giant washing machine as he felt like he was spinning around as he fell.
When he came back too himself was was standing back on his feet at another location, his face pale as he felt like his organs were moved around within his body.
Michael next to him all of the sudden threw up as Victor felt like following him as well but took a few deep breaths to calm down.
Violet of the over hand didn't have any visible changes, like she didn't just experience what they did.
"Take a few deep breaths and you'll feel better, it's always like this one you first few times." Violet comforted them both will rubbing their backs.
She then used her magic to erase Michael's mess before leading them over to a nearby bench to sit down.
"Why are you fine?" Michael asked his face still pale.
"Well after you two reach Tier 1 you'll have a better control over your mana, so you can limit the affects from teleporting. After all you feel like this because your mana is reacting in such a violent way, and you'll also be able to temporarily strengthen your bodies with mana." Violet said as he gave them a bottle of water each.
After seeing that they had both calmed down Violet let of a sigh of relief.
"Why didn't Vic throw up?" Michael complained as he tasted his own stomach acid even now.
"Well you might have a stronger body than Victor but Victor's mana should have helped him resist the force on his body to some degree." Violet said but deep down she actually had no idea as logically this shouldn't be the case but she couldn't appear to not know why in front of her two juniors.
As of the two Michael should have had the better resistances because of his stronger body.
No longer paying thinking of this she smirked as she lead them out of the hall and into the city.
In front of them was an even grander and larger city than Spring City, not only were the buildings larger but they were as of a better quality.
Much like Spring City the city was brightened up by street lights, but unlike Spring City there wasn't as many people on the streets.
Unlike Spring City that was a huge tourist location Dragon City was mainly for students from Dragon Star Academy and adventures.
"Now I would take you two around the city but it's late and I've got places to be, so you'll two have to check out the city yourselfs." Violet explained as she headed in a certain direction.
"What, why?" Michael didn't like the sound of this as he hurriedly caught up to her.
"Well I have things to do, but you'll both be fine. All you have to do is wait for me to pick you both up in five days, after all I don't have time to babysit you." Violet said leading them over to a hotel before entering.
"Can you tell us a little about the city?" Victor asked not wanting to be left blind to any important information they could know.
"Sigh, fine but I don't have much time." Violet finding the request reasonable agreed before stopping in front of the reception.
"Hello, I've got a booking for a room here under Sebastian." Violet said as she handed over a card.
"Yes one moment... Yes there is a booking under Sebastian, a room with two beds for four nights, is that correct?" The receptionist smiled after checking on her computer.
"Yes that's the one." Violet nodded before the receptionist returned the card with a card key for the room.
Michael looked around the hotel that was quite plane in design and decoration.
"Thank you have a goodnight." Violet thanked her before leaving the hotel with both boys heading for food.
"So where do I begin... Dragon City is a tier 6 City so don't make any trouble, the city was created for the students from Dragon Star Academy." She held her chin in thought.
"So most of the residents are either students or their families, than again the city draws quite a lot of adventures and guilds. But city basically has every service you can think of as students love to come here to de-stress.
Than you have the trade side of the city, as students that either want to buy or sell anything can do so here, there's even a large market area in the city just for this reason, you two should check it out sometime.
Than there's the dungeons and Labyrinths around the city that you can go to when your both strong enough." Violet didn't really go into too much detail as there really was too much but she still pointed out a few important things.
"So the city is mainly for students to relax or entertain themselves, as well as a place to sell or buy things between each other." Victor clarified.
"Yep basically but you'll have to remember that when you trade with fellow students they won't accept money, instead you'll need dragon points which are earned from the school." Violet nodded before reminding them.
