Chapter 52 - 51 - Reward

"Well now we need to get you two your rewards before going through the procedures to enrol you both." Violet started to make plans.

"Well before we do anything we need to eat first." Victor who was the responsible one interrupted both Michael and Violet's excitement as he brought over pancakes, sausages, bacon and eggs over to the dinning table.

So everyone sat down to eat their first meal of the day, during which they made plans.

After breakfast Victor and Michael got dressed to go out, Michael wore a plain a simple white button shirt and pale blue jeans.

Victor on the other hand was wearing a pure black button shirt and black jeans, as although he didn't care about what he wore as long as it was practical he still prefered black.

Violet on the other hand... Stood out as she wore a bright yellow sun dress and wide brim hat.

They got into Violet's car before she drove them to the middle area of the city in order to register for their rewards and enrol.

After arriving they found a large amount of people either with the same or other purposes.

Four stories tall the building served multiple purposes for the general public.

Entering inside Michael was slightly impressed as the the inside was quite nice, with white marble floors and tall grey ceilings.

"Oh please this is nothing, just wait till you see all the buildings in the capital or dragon City. Now they're impressive." Violet couldn't help but be disappointed in the fact her nephew and cousin were so inexperienced.

"It's this way to register, then we'll have to go over there to enrol." Victor lead the way to join one of the lines.

"So what are the rewards we'll get?" Michael asked in his normal layed back position with his hands behind his head, as he was starting to feel bored.

"Well it first depends on your score, which decides the level of rewards your eligible for. Then you'll be given rewards depending upon your class type, it's as simple as that." Violet answered with a cheerful smile.

"Oh, what rewards did you receive?" Michael asked in interest, as he wanted to know what level of rewards they'll receive.

"Oh me, I received a S- Reward pack, a few dozen spell and magic books... Ummm five class skill books, three special skill books and a whole set of equipment, as well as some small stuff.." Violet listed her rewards like they were common things from a dollar store.

Both Victor and Michael paused, if they could get that stuff then they would be ahead of everyone as these weren't just normal items that fell from trees or anything.

In fact all of the rewards they got from the trial could be counted as super duper lucky, as for normal people getting their hands on this list of rewards is massive.

As usually if you wanted to collect all these items without spending money, well let's just say for them here in Flora City it would take potentially several years.

Of course in over cities this isn't the case or for people with money and connections but you have to remember that this is for Tier 0.

When it comes to items Tier 1 and above, it becomes hard and rare to obtain them, the higher the Tier.

But even still Michael couldn't help but feel excited for his rewards, while Victor didn't feel much change he did start to think on how to get more resources to advance quicker though.

As it would be even harder to keep up with others who had more resources, but this still didn't perturb him as he knew he could shorten the gap and even over come them as long as he kept a level head and put his mind too it.

The line moved quickly and it wasn't long before it was their turn.

"Next please." The government receptionist smiled as she called them over to her booth.

"Do you have all your information to register in order to fully receive your rewards from the Empire." She asked with a professional smile.

"Yep it's all here." Michael checked all his pockets as he spoke but his face went pale as he realised that he didn't have them.

"It's all right here." That's when Victor pulled out both of their required documents and placed them down on the white marble desk.

"Alright just please give me a moment.... Wise Victor and Knight Michael...." She entered both their info into the computer and searched them.

"Here we go, alright now I'll need you to sign here and here, then I'll give you your certificate to receive your items from over there." She placed a tablet down in front of Victor before pointing out where he needed to sign.

Victor read through it first before signing, followed by Michael who didn't even read it.

"Now that's everything, please have a great day." She set the pass their phones before seeing them off.

"Thank you." Victor nodded before leaving with both Michael and Violet.

"Should we get your rewards now or later?" Violet asked seeing that they both were done.

"Well...." Michael looked over to the over crowded area where everyone was trying to get their rewards.

"Good point, so what's next." Violet nodded upon following his gaze and seeing this sence.

"We'll get it delivered to the apartment later, as for now we will enrol." Victor gave his thoughts on this matter.

"Well after we're done with everything we need to pack up your stuff." Violet suddenly said confusing them both.

"Huh, why?" Michael asked not understanding why they would need to.

"Well you'll be going to school soon, so we need to get you both ready. That combined with the fact we are on a sort on time, as we have quite the distance to travel." Violet explained without any care for Michael's disbelief.

"Well if we are short on time then let's speed this up." Victor replied causing Michael to double take as he looked between the two .

"But why do we have..." Michael was cut short as Violet started to drag him by his ear.

"Because I have to go back and if you deal or take to much time like you always do, then you'll have to go by yourselfs." Violet's face turned dark as she dragged him over to the enrolment area.

Entering the large hall there was a bunch of booths for almost each academy in the empire as well as a section responsible for the 15 academies.

They started to walk around the hall looking for the right booth, which was a little hard as almost every student with their families were here today.

As unfortunately everyone only had 3 days to enrol after receiving their results, so this place will be overcrowded for the next three days.

"There's too many people, If only you could do this online." Michael complained as there really was too many people.

"Well in other cities you can enrol online through the Magic Web (internet)." Violet said looking around in interest.

"What's the Magic Web?" Michael couldn't help but ask.

"It's basically the upgraded version of the internet that we have here in this city " Victor explained, the Magic Web was one of the benefits from a tier 3 City.

Following the crowd they arrived at a large crowd watching a certain booth.

"Now what's happening over there?" Violet asked trying to see over the crowd.

On the other side of the crowd was there destination, and right now everyone in the crowd was watching on with mixed emotions.

"Someone actually meet the requirements to enrol in one of the 15!" Everyone was shocked seeing that someone actually did meet the requirements.

Chang Heng had a proud arrogant smirk on his pale face, he needed this boost too his ego especially considering what happened yesterday.

In fact he still hasn't fully recovered yet as the medication he got only delayed his... Affliction so he had to leave here very soon.

But unfortunately for him right as he was basking in the limelight the crowd parted as Ling walked through the crowd with her party minus Chris.

They were also here to enrol, and as Chang Heng was taken his sweet time made it so he ran into them.

"Miss Ling it's a pleasure meeting you here." Chang Heng took a step forwards with a kind smile which only made him look like a sleece bag with his pale face.

"Chang Heng it seems that you've got better." She replied with her normal kind face.

Mira on the other hand face sourd upon seeing Chang Heng here.

"Which academy are you enrolling in?" Chang Heng asked not minding Mira's disgusted face.

"Oh I'm going to attempt to enrol in Red Phoenix Academy, what about you have you decided which academy you wish to enrol into?" She asked in return, secretly wanting to know which academy to avoid.

"W-Well after much consideration I have decided to enrol in Dragon Star Academy, as it's the best for competition." Chang Heng lied slightly, as the only academy he could enrol in.

"Oh that's great, well I wish you luck." Ling said with a slight unnoticeable relief.

Victor and Michael walked through the crowd and to the enrolment booth.

Ignoring everyone else Victor logged into the tablet and checked which academies he could enrol in, after checking the list he found Dragon Star Academy and pressed on it.

Next Victor filled out his enrolment application before logging out and passing the tablet to Michael.

After which he waited for Michael to finish, which didn't take long as Michael soon joined him.

(I'm back baby! :)
