Underworld which bathed in a deep, eerie red. Alex's eyes fluttered open to a surreal, thought ramped in Alex's mind as he realized he was submerged, struggling to breathe. His lungs burned with the desperate need for oxygen, and he kicked his legs furiously, trying to rise to the surface.
The water around him felt thick and heavy, resisting his every movement. Alex's vision blurred, the crimson hue distorting everything into a nightmarish haze. He clawed at the water, arms flailing as he tried to propel himself upward. His heart hammered at rapid pace in his chest, a frantic rhythm that echoed in his ears.
Bubbles escaped his mouth, rising slowly to the surface, mocking his struggle for air. His vision darkened at the edges, the world narrowing to a single point of light above him. The surface seemed so far away, an unattainable goal as his strength waned.
With a final, desperate push, Alex broke through the surface, gasping for air. The cool, fresh oxygen filled his lungs, a painful yet exhilarating relief. He coughed violently, his chest heaving as he struggled to stay afloat. Blinking the water from his eyes, he looked around, taking in his surroundings.
Due to his rare condition, there was no emotion etched on his face above him, the sky was an unnatural shade of purple, swirling with strange, iridescent clouds. The landscape was familiar but not, unlike anything he had ever seen before. Trees with twisted, blackened branches reached toward the sky, their leaves shimmering with an otherworldly glow.
A sudden noise behind him made Alex whip around, calling for attention. There, standing at the edge of the water, was the same beast who had thrown Alex and was responsible for his current setup. Its large imposing figure, covered in dark, mottled scales that glistened in the dim light. But instead of attacking, the beast merely watched him, its eyes glowing with an unsettling gaze.
Alex's breath hitched, his body acting up in anticipation of the creature's attack. But the beast remained still, its gaze locked onto him with an almost curious intensity.
then a sudden thought came into Alex's mind the beast wasn't moving at all as if he was a statue but somehow he was feeling like he was getting small. The surroundings didn't make sense making Alex run his eyes in the surroundings.
Before Alex could make sense of the situation, the ground beneath him began to tremble. He glanced down, his eyes widening as several hands emerged from the soil, grasping at his ankles. The hands were pale and ghostly, their touch cold and relentless as they pulled him downward.
"what happening !" Alex screamed, thrashing against the hands' grip. He tried to kick them away, but they held fast, dragging him back toward the water. His fingers dug into the ground, trying to find purchase, but it was no use. The hands were too strong.
The beast watched impassively, its head tilted slightly as if pondering his fate. Alex's heart pounded in his chest, a wild, desperate rhythm as he struggled against his captors. The more he fought, the tighter their grip became, pulling him closer to the water's edge.
His vision blurred with tears of frustration and mystery. The ground, once solid, became hollow and now seemed like a malevolent force conspiring against him. As he was pulled under once more, the cold embrace of the unknown enveloped him, and the world above faded into a crimson nightmare.
Beneath the surface, the hands continued to pull him down, deeper into the abyss. His lungs screamed for air, the pressure in his chest building with every passing second. Panic clawed at his mind, threatening to overwhelm him.
In a last, desperate attempt, Alex tried to summon his strength, pushing against the hands with all his might. But it was like fighting against the tide; every movement only seemed to draw him deeper into the darkness.
As his vision dimmed and his strength waned, Alex's mind clung to one last thought: survival. He couldn't give up, not now. He had to find a way out, to escape this nightmare. But as the darkness closed in around him, his hope began to fade, and the world slipped away into nothingness.
Just as Alex felt himself succumbing to the oppressive weight, a brilliant light erupted from the ground where he was being dragged. The hands holding him seemed to loosen their grip slightly, and he took the opportunity to push against them one last time, trying to break free. The light grew brighter, almost blinding, and he could barely make out the shape of the ravager beast bowing its massive head towards the glowing spot.
The sight was surreal, almost reverent as if the beast was paying homage to something far greater than itself. Alex still unknown to his current preadicment. The ground beneath the beast began to ripple, and its body slowly started to dissipate, breaking apart into tiny particles of light.
As the beast vanished, a small, radiant purple orb appeared, suspended in the air where the ravager had stood. The orb pulsed with an otherworldly energy, casting an ethereal glow over the crimson waters. Alex was awake and could hardly believe what he was seeing. with thoughts What was this orb, and why had the beast bowed to it?
His thoughts were interrupted as the same ghostly hands that had dragged him under reached for the orb. They grasped it gently, almost reverently, and pulled it down into the ground. The orb's light faded as it was drawn into the depths, leaving the water dark and foreboding again.
The ground beneath Alex began to tremble violently. He felt himself being pulled downward again, this time with a force that was impossible to resist. The water around him churned, creating a whirlpool that dragged him deeper into the abyss. His lungs burned, his vision dimmed, and the last thing he saw was the crimson water closing over his head.
Alex's chest heaved with the effort to draw breath, but there was no air to be found. The pressure in his chest became unbearable, and black spots danced before his eyes. His limbs grew heavy, and his movements slowed. He was sinking, deeper and deeper into the darkness, where no light could reach.
Just when he thought he couldn't hold on any longer, a strange sensation washed over him. It was as if the water around him was alive, cradling him in its embrace. The hands that had dragged him down seemed to be holding him up now, preventing him from sinking further. The pressure in his chest eased slightly.
His thoughts turned to the beast and the orb. What was their connection? Why had the beast bowed, and why had the hands taken the orb into the ground? The questions swirled in his mind, each one more perplexing than the last.
As he floated in the dark, he became aware of a presence. It was faint at first, like a whisper at the edge of his consciousness. But it grew stronger, a voice calling out to him from the depths. It was a familiar and strange voice, echoing in the corners of his mind embracing Alex.
"Alex," the voice whispered. "You are not alone."
His eyes snapped open, and he found himself between the large trees. He stood up and saw his hand stained with dry blood of dark blood and with a purplish hue on his hand indicating he was hurt and somehow all his injuries were healed. Like a surge of memories of what happened returning memories answering every question.
