Rhea started by teaching her how to have a proper grip on her sword and also her stance.
Rhea moved towards her, "Proper grip and stance are essential for balance and control. Hold the sword with a relaxed yet firm grip, with the thumb wrapped around the hilt. Stand with one foot forward, knees slightly bent, and weight evenly distributed." She glanced at Aylin's stance and demonstrated the correct position herself. "Like this," she said, positioning her feet and holding the wooden sword in a neutral guard.
Aylin carefully mirrored Rhea's stance, adjusting her grip on the wooden sword as instructed. She could feel the difference immediately, a sense of stability and readiness settling into her posture.
